- A case of Burglary has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 10/09/2007 at 0115 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Raju V. Shetty (38) R/o Kolya Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk by breaking the back door lock and committed theft of a gold chain. The value of stolen property is Rs. 14,000/.

- A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Outraging the modesty of woman along with Criminal intimidation has been registered Puttur Town Police Station. On 14/09/2007 at 1800 hrs at Nehru nagara Puttur Town accused Naveen, Praveen, Sanjeeva @ Sanjaya and Shridhara abused Shivadasa Kudwa R/o Nehru nagara Puttur Town and his wife Sumana Kudwa (35) in filthy language and outraged the modesty of Sumana Kudwa by pulling her hand and also gave life threat to them. The motive seems to that Shivadas Kudwa had earlier lodged a complaint against accused in Puttur Town PS.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 16/09/2007 at 1530 hrs at Bejai Mangalore one Suresh rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-8121 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and applied break suddenly due to which motorcycle capsized. As a result one Kumaresh R/o Bondel Mangalore pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 17/09/2007 at 1600 hrs in front of Circuit house at Kadri Mangalore one Tharanatha driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-5268 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and applied break suddenly due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result one Krishna (48) R/o Padavinangady Mangalore who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered Mulki Police Station. On 16/09/2007 at 1900 hrs at Gerukatte Kilpady village Mangalore Taluk one Mohammed driver of jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-19-M-6415 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-7120. As a result Mallikarjuna driver of auto rickshaw, Mahadevi, Tejaswini and Mahalakshmi who were traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries and both vehicles got damaged.

On 16/09/2007 at 1500 hrs on NH 17 at Kallapu Permannur village Mangalore Taluk Abdul Aziz (64) R/o Kinya village Mangalore Taluk a passenger of the bus beairng Reg. No. KA-19-B-6164 fell down from the bus while getting down as the driver of the bus one Vijaya Kumar moved the bus in a negligent manner and sustained simple injuries.

On 17/09/2007 at 1315 hrs in front of Yenopoya hospital at Munnur village Mangalore Taluk one Usman driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-9296 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Julian Telis D’Souza (70) R/o Subhasnagara Munnur village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station On 17/09/2007 at 1330 hrs on Belthangady-Guruvayanakere road at Belthangady Town one Hassainar N.K. driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-6131 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-21-1886. As a result Hassainar N.K. driver of auto rickshaw, Musthafa D.H. (27) R/o Malavanthige village Belthangady Taluk and Usman who were traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.

No. KA-13-B-7866 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-5085. As a result Seetharama Shetty rider of motorcycle and pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries

No. KA-21-4320 and criminally restrained Vishwanatha R/o Neharu nagara Puttur Taluk and his son Hithesh near his house and abused him in filthy language and also gave life threat to them. The motive seems to be personal enmity between them.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 16/09/2007 at 2215 hrs one Yallappa (28) R/o Mundugodu Karwar district accidentally fell into the well while walking near Anegundi Bejai Mangalore and died due to drowning.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 18/09/2007 at 0915 hrs one Severin D’Silva (45) R/o Arya Amtady village Bantwal Taluk accidentally fell into the well while walking near her house and died due to drowning.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. In between 17/09/2007 at 1430 hrs and 18/09/2007 at 0830 hrs one Everest D’Souza (41) R/o Moodupadu house Kuriyala village Bantwal Taluk committed suicide by consuming poison owing to personal problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. On 17/09/2007 at 1400 hrs one Sheenappa Gowda (55) R/o Kattemane Kombaru Puttur Taluk accidentally fell down due to some illness while working near his house and died on the way to hospital.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 10/07/2007 at 1500 hrs one Yashoda (48) R/o Keyyur Belthangady Taluk suddenly fell ill near her house and she was admitted to Wenlock hospital where she was declared dead while under treatment on 16/09/2007 at 1155 hrs.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 16/09/2007 in between 1800 hrs and 2000 hrs one Gopala R/o Gundya house Aletti village Sullia Taluk committed suicide by hanging in his house owing to financial problem.

- A case of Man missing has been registered in Venoor Police Station. On 07/09/2007 at 0930 hrs one Ramesh (19) R/o Gundoori village Belthangady Taluk accidentally slipped into the Palguni river and got washed away while walking at Panjigudde Hosangady village Belthangady Taluk. He has not been traced so far.
