- A case under House trespass, Hurt along with Murder has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 02/03/2008 in between 0730 hrs and 0800 hrs three unknown persons criminally trespassed into the house beloning to one Meera Balakrishna Gowda R/o Green field Paleppady Ivarnadu village Sullia Taluk and assaulted one Vimala (40) and Meera Balakrishna by hand and they murdered Meera Balakrishna by strangulation.

- A case of MV Theft has been registered in Ullal Police Station. In between 26/02/2008 at 2230 hrs and 27/02/2008 at 0830 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a Hero Honda motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-K-6941 belonging to one Natesh Kumar (26) R/o Kolya Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk that was parked in the premises of his house. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 23,000/.

On 01/03/2008 at 1630 hrs at Kelagina Vagga Kavalapadoor village Bantwal Taluk one Chandrashekaran M. driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-01-MG-5599 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-01-F-7775. As a result one Sundara Shetty driver of said KSRTC bus sustained simple injuries.

No. KA-21-M-4020 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Bhaghyashree (03) a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries.
