• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 15/03/2008 at 1300 hrs near Marakada junction at Mangalore one Booba driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-647 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due vehicle capsized. As a result Booba driver of lorry and Sundra (40) R/o Vamanjoor Thiruvailu village Mangalore Taluk conducter of said lorry sustained grievous injuries.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 16/03/2008 at 1015 hrs at Rayeekatte cross Mangalore one Klodi D’Souza driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-2217 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result Klodi D’Souza driver of auto rickshaw, Dotti D’Souza (63) R/o Vidyanagara Panjimogeru Mangalore and her grand daughter who were traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 15/03/2008 at 1000 hrs at Nelyadka Kowkardy village Puttur Taluk one Sundra driver of jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-21-4479 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-E-7654. As a result one Girish K.M. (32) R/o Nidle village Belthangady Taluk rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.

• A case under Rioting, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Mischief of causing damage has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 15/03/2008 at 2300 hrs accused Rahiman, Ashif, Zakariya, Rahim, Rafique, Iqbal, Abbas, Samsuddin, Shafi, Adam, Mustafa, Hameed, Mohammed Rafique, Farooque, Munir, Malik, Sathar, Iqbal, Abbas, Mahammed, Mansoor and others forming into an unlawful assembly near Bollayi Mosque at Sajipa Mooda village Bantwal Taluk and abused Sayied Jamaluddin Thangal in filthy language and assaulted Abudul Razak B. (32) R/o Sajipa Mooda village Bantwal Taluk, Abdul Rahiman, Mohammed Rafique, Abdul Majid and Hasan Bava with wooden stick and also damaged the tube lights by pelting stone. The motive seems to be personal dispute between them.

• A case under Rioting, Hurt along with Mischief of causing damage has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 15/03/2008 at 2300 hrs accused Karim G.K., Ashraf, Adda, Khalid and 8 to 10 other persons forming into an unlawful assembly near Bollayi Mosque at Sajipa Mooda village Bantwal Taluk and assaulted Mohammed Rafique (23) R/o Sajipa Munnoor village Bantwal Taluk, Mansoor and Mohammed Mustafa with wooden stick and also damaged the auto rickshaw belonging to one Mohammed Rafique by pelting stone. The motive seems to be personal dispute between them.
