• A case of MV Theft has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. In between 22/02/2008 at 2140 hrs and 23/02/2008 at 1030 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-3702 belonging to one Dr. Yeman Asar R/o Balmatta Mangalore that was parked at parking place of KMC hospital at Jyothi Mangalore. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 20,000/.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 16/03/2008 at 1610 hrs at K.S. Rao Mangalore one rider of scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-2273 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Ramesh (23) R/o Shiratti Taluk Gadag District a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
  

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 17/03/2008 at 1315 hrs at Industrial cross road Yeyyady Mangalore one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-6798 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an Ambulance Van bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-8789. As a result motorcycle rider sustained simple injuries.
  

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 11/03/2008 at 1230 hrs at Bikarnakatte Mangalore one driver of Tipper lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-8436 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Ramananda Alva (60) R/o Kulashekara Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
  

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 16/03/2008 at 1500 hrs at Ullalbailu Ullal Mangalore one Naveen Kumar rider of motorcycle bearing KA-19-U-1906 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Avinash (26) R/o Ullal Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.
  

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 16/03/2008 at 2030 hrs at Gudinabali Bantwal Town one driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-8071 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Abdul Khadar a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries
  

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 17/03/2008 at 1830 hrs at Kanyadi Dharmastal village Belthangady Taluk one Akbar Ali driver of Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-21-1683 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against pedestrians Hanumanthappa and Manjunatha and caused them simple injuries.

On 16/03/2008 at 2215 hrs at Unity hospital Kankanady Mangalore accused one female and 4 male persons criminally restrained Roona Mariya (22) and Geetha Shetty and abused them in filthy language and assaulted them by hand also gave life threat to them owing to trivial issue.

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 17/03/2008 at 1400 hrs one Mukunda Nayak (68) R/o Kanyana village Belthangady Taluk committed suicide by hanging near his house owing to personal enimity.
