On 14/03/2008 at 0015 hrs on cridible information PSI Vittal PS along with staff conducted raid at Mundathaje Madakatte Kolnadu village Bantwal Taluk and seized a Sachet manufacturing machine and sachets of arrack by arresting one Ezak D’Souza. On seeing the police team, accused Francis D’Souza, Ramesh Jesintha, Prasad V.T. Barebettu who were managed to escape from the place.
Total worth of porpetry seized is Rs. 2,25,000/.
In this connection, a case has been registered in Vittal PS under Karnataka Excise Act.
