• A case of Burglary has been registered in Mulki Police Station. In between 29/02/2008 at 1100 hrs and 04/03/2008 at 1700 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging into one Sumathi T. Poojarthi R/o Koppala Haleyangady village Mangalore by breaking the door lock and committed theft of gold ornaments and Pooja articles all in worth Rs. 24,650/.

Ordinary Theft: 01

• A case of Ordinary theft has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 05/03/2008 at 1600 hrs accused Yakub (24) R/o Ambalaje Belandoor village Puttur Taluk and Mohammed Haneef (24) R/o Nadugudde Belandoor village Puttur Taluk committed theft of a telephone pole at Kuntini Uppinangady village Puttur Taluk. Meanwhile they were caught red hand by one Padmanabha R. (53), Telephone mechanic and handed over to Uppinangady Police.

• A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 05/03/2008 at 1315 hrs at Maripalla Pudu village Bantwal Taluk one Prasanna N. R. driver of KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-F-2057 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Q-9137. As a result motorcycle rider one Blayni Lasrado (34) R/o Decharu Mudanadugodu village sustained serious injuries and he was admitted to Fr. Muller hospital at Mangalore where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on the same day.
  

• A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 05/03/2008 at 0830 hrs at Parladka Puttur Town one Ravishankar Bhat rider of Honda Activa scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-3012 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-6032. As a result one Narendra Baliga (33) R/o Daarbe Keminje village Puttur Taluk rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries and he was admitted to Mahaveera hospital at Puttur where he was succumbed to his injuries while under treatment. Further Purushothama pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 05/03/2008 at 1245 hrs at Muloor Balepuni village Mangalore Taluk one Moydin Kunchi driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-20-A-32 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result Lakshmana Naik (26) R/o Mithanadka Karoppady Bantwal Taluk, Abeeb and Dikshith who were traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.
  

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 04/03/2008 at 2000 hrs on Asaigoli – Pattori at Konaje village Mangalore Taluk one Shekara rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-03-EB-7255 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Thungashri (04) R/o Asaigoli Konaje village Mangalore a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries.
  

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 04/03/2008 at 2230 hrs at Kashibettu Layeela village Belthangady Taluk one Balasubramanyam driver of Tanker bearing Reg. No. KA-01-B-2256 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which vehicle capsized. As a result Arumugam (37) R/o Kovil Taluk Pudukote district Tamilunadu State clearer of said Tanker and Balasubramyam driver of Tanker sustained simple injuries.
  

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Venoor Police Station. On 05/03/2008 at 1500 hrs at Bambila Moodupadukodi village Bantwal Taluk one driver of Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-40-2008 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-F-2172 from behind. As a result Tempo driver sustained simple injuries and both the vehicles got damaged.

Unnatural Death Report: 01

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. In between 03/03/2008 at 1930 and 05/03/2008 at 1100 hrs one Annu Naik (60) R/o Bangardka Ariyapu village Puttur Taluk accidentally slipped into the Chennadka river near his house while taking bath and died due to drowning.
