• A case under House trespass, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 08/03/2008 at 2330 hrs accused Vishwanatha and Suresha criminally trespassed into the house belonging to one Gulabi (45) R/o R/o Amai Kodiyalbail Sullia Town and assaulted her by hand and also gave life threat to her owing to trivial issue.
  

• A case under Cruelty by Husband, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station on the complaint of Kowsar (23) R/o W/o Mohammed Sali @ Shafi R/o Kondenchanda Beliyur village Bantwal Taluk. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Mohammed Sali (husband) and his relatives Sathar and Abubakkar gave physical and mental harassment to one Kowsar to bring more dowry and they also assaulted her by hand and also gave life threat to her.

• A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 10/03/2008 at 2030 hrs at Darandakukku Chikkamudnoor village Puttur Taluk one Manjunatha rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-K-284 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and applied break suddenly due which motorcycle capsized. As a result one Raja M. (29) R/o Basavanagudi Punjalakatte village Belthangady Taluk pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries. Further he was admitted to KMC hospital at Mangalore where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on 11/03/2008 at 2350 hrs.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 12/03/2008 at 1115 hrs at Ambedkar circle Mangalore one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-5169 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-21-N-9919 driven by one Vinaya Bhushan D’ Souza (32) R/o Vamanjoor Mangalore. As a result car got damaged. No causalities reported.
  

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 11/03/2008 at 2030 hrs at Kallagudde Keminje village Puttur Taluk one Rafique driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-8702 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-6494. As a result Ibrahim rider of motorcycle and Sulaiman (48) R/o Kuriya village Puttur Taluk pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

• A case under Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 12/03/2008 at 0800 hrs accused Vasantha Kumar assaulted one Jayarama (47) R/o Sannampady Golithottu village Puttur Taluk with wooden stick near his house and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

• A case under section 292 IPC has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 12/03/2008 at 1600 hrs PSI Bantwal Rural PS along with staff on credible information conducted a raid on Mobile Place shop at Sri Kamal Palce Farangipete Pudu village and seized a computer, 4 absence VCD, and cash Rs. 900/ all in worth Rs. 20,000/ by arresting Mohammed Muneer and Nushad Ali.

Unnatural Death Report: 01

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 11/03/2008 at 1730 hrs one Shankar Nayak R/o Gundimajalu Manchi village Bantwal Taluk accidentally fell down from the coconut tree while removing coconuts near his house and got seriously injured and he was admitted to KMC hospital Mangalore where succumbed to his injuires on the same day.

Missing Persons: 02

• A case of Girl missing has been registered in Konaje Police Station. One Deepa (19) R/o Asaigoli Mangalore left her house on 08/03/2008 at 0630 hrs and did not return her house there after. She has been found missing since then.
  

• A case of Women missing has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. One Shainey (23) W/o Royee Subestain R/o Gandibagilu Neriya village Belthangady Taluk left her house on 10/03/2008 at 0500 hrs and did not return her house there after. She has been found missing since then.
