- A case under House trespass, Outraging the modesty of women along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. On 14/03/2008 at 2300 hrs accused one Baira criminally trespassed into the house belonging to one Girija (28) R/o Nagri Alangaru village Puttur Taluk and tried to outrage the modesty of Girija by pulling her hand and he also gave life threat to her.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 23/03/2008 at 1830 hrs on NH 17 at Uchila Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk one Mohammed Zameer driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-1268 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Lakshmi a pedestrian and caused her grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinnagady Police Station. On 22/03/2008 at 1100 hrs at Pullotte Shirady village Belthangady Taluk one Nandish driver of Maruti Aulto car bearing Reg. No. KA-05-MC-4251 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Tata vehicle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-7218. As a result Tata vehicle driver Ashraf S.M. and other 3 persons who were traveling in the said Maruti Alto car sustained simple injuries.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 18/03/2008 at 1100 hrs one Geetha (22) R/o Kallapu Permannur village Mangalore Taluk sustained serious burn injuries while she was trying to light a kerosene stove in her house. Further she was admitted to the Yenopoya hospital at Deralakatte Mangalore Taluk and there while under treatment she succumbed to her injuries on 23/03/2008 at 2030 hrs.
