• A case of Burglary has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. In between 09/03/2008 at 1000 hrs and 10/03/2008 at 0900 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the house at Pallmajalu Bantwal Town belonging to one Nagaraja Narahari Shet by breaking the front door lock and committed theft of a pump set and other aluminum household articles all in worth 3,500/.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 09/03/2008 at 1630 hrs on NH 17 at Bangrakulur Mangalore one unknown driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-20-A-7282 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-5271. As a result Abdul Bhasir motorcycle rider and Suhail pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries. Further lorry driver lost control over his vehicle and dashed against one Sujaikath a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries. The lorry driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
  

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 10/03/2008 at 0920 at Mastikatte Ullal Mangalore one Adram driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-8418 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-1072 due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result Vishwanatha Alva driver of auto rickshaw and Alphonse Monthero (42) R/o Krishnanagara Thokkuttu Mangalore who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained grievous injuries.
  

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 06/03/2008 at 0230 hrs at Mugerumajalu Sarapady village Bantwal Taluk one Ramanna Poojary rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Q-3112 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Korapalu (70) R/o Nadugudde Peraje village Bantwal Taluk a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries. The motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
  

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Venoor Police Station. On 09/03/2008 at 1415 hrs at Nadayi Sulkerimogaru village Belthangady Taluk one Ashok Suvarna driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-A-701 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner due which one Shivayya Poojary (58) R/o Thenkakrandur village Belthangady who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw thrown out of the auto rickshaw and sustained grievous injuries.

• A case under Rioting, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 08/03/2008 at 2300 hrs accused Praveen @ Gujiri Praveen, Girish, Manoj, Kiran and Madhu forming into an unlawful assembly at Amrutha Bar at Moodushedde village Mangalore Taluk and abused one Kumar S. (31) R/o Shivanagara Moodushedde village Mangalore Taluk in filthy language and assaulted him with cold drink bottle and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

• A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 09/03/2008 at 1400 hrs accused one Ashwath abused one Yogish (22) R/o Kempula Padumarnadu village Mangalore Taluk in filthy language near his house and assaulted him with cricket bat owing to trivial issue.
  

• A case under Hurt has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 09/03/2008 at 1000 hrs at Molepadpu Shanthigodu village Puttur Taluk accused one Sanjeeva assaulted one Babu Mugera (38) R/o Molepadpu Shanthigodu village Puttur Taluk with sickle owing to trivial issue.

• A case of Gambling under Karnataka Police Act has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 10/03/2008 at 1530 hrs on credible information of illegal betting acvtivity PSI Ullal PS along with his staff conducted a raid on Guru Krithi Recreation club at Thokkuttu Mangalore. Accordingly from Recreation club Police party has seized Rs. 336/, 2 Video Game machines including 2 keys and 4 persons have been arrested.
  

• A case under Karnataka Excise Act has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. On 10/03/2008 at 1730 hrs on credible information PSI Kababa PS along with staff conducted a raid on open place at Kadaba Town Puttur Taluk and seized 10 liquor bottles (each 180 ML) of worth Rs. 340/ by arresting one Thimmappa Gowda (42) R/o Noojibalthila village Puttur Taluk who was selling these liquor bottles illegally there

Unnatural Death Report: 01

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Venoor Police Station. On 09/03/2008 at 1800 hrs one Ramesh Nalke (45) R/o Paddandka Hosangady village Belthangady Taluk committed suicide by hanging in house owing to financial problem.
