- A case of Murder has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On the intervening night of 04-05/03/2008 some unknown culprits hired an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-3368 while the auto rickshaw reached near Rubber Plant at Babbukatte Gandi Permannur village Mangalore Taluk the unknown culprits who were traveling in the auto rickshaw killed the driver of said atuo rickshaw one Lancy D’ Souza (35) R/o Nithyadhara Nagara Site Permannur village Mangalore Taluk by sharp weapon for some unknown reason. Case is under investigation.

- A case of Burglary has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. In between 03/03/2008 at 2200 hrs and 04/03/2008 at 0900 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the shop at 6th Block Katipalla village Mangalore Taluk belonging to one Abdul Samad (22) R/o 7th Block Krishapura Katipalla village Mangalore Taluk by breaking the shutter lock and committed theft of 2 mobile phones all in worth Rs. 1,900/.

On 04/03/2008 at 1600 hrs accused Shabeer R/o Haleyangady village Mangalore Taluk, Irfan R/o Manjanady village Mangalore Taluk and other one person came to Shop No-G28 at Empire Mall Mangalore and pretended as a customer and committed theft of a Mobile Phone belongings to one Saiyed Nasir R/o Kotekaru village Mangalore Taluk.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 04/03/2008 at 1825 hrs near Wenlock hospital at Mangalore one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-223 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-4924 driven by one Deepak D’ Souza (30) R/o Alapegutthu Padil Mangalore. As a result motorcycle got damaged. No causalities reported.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 03/03/2008 at 1900 hrs on NH-17 at Kottara Chowki Mangalore one Ramesha driver of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-L-9210 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Virendra (28) R/o Alape Padil Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 03/03/2008 at 1620 hrs on NH-17 at Baikampady Mangalore one Mohammed Ashraf driver of bus bearing Reg. No.KA-19-B-419 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-2521. As a result motorcycle rider Arjun and Harikrishnan (39) R/o Attavara Mangalore pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 04/03/2008 at 0845 hrs near Bypass junction at Parladka Puttur Town one Jeevan rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No.KA-21-K-324 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Anoosh K.T. (15) R/o Thenkila Puttur Town a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 03/03/2008 at 1245 hrs at Bambila Kavalapadoor village Bantwal Taluk one Mohammed Ismail driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-1750 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-01-F-7908 driven by Ramadas K. As a result auto rickshaw driver Mohammed Ismail and passengers who were traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 03/03/2008 at 1600 hrs at Pedamale Ilanthila village Uppinangady Taluk one Sharif driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-21-2139 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a tree. As a result Joseph, Rajesh Rai, Prashantha, Raju, Sesamma and Kalavathi who were traveling in the said bus grievous simple injuries.

On 04/03/2008 at 1600 hrs in Shop No-G28 at Empire Mall Mangalore accused Harish Shetty and Saiyad Nasir both workers of said Shop and Wrongfully confines one Irfan R/o Manjanady village Mangalore Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him with wooden stick and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.
- A case under Hurt has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 26/02/2008 at 1400 hrs accused one Sathish assaulted one Balakrishna Bhandary (39) R/o Padolikatte Manjanady village Mangalore Taluk with wooden stick owing to trivial issue.
