A case of Gambling under Karnataka Police Act has been registered in Subramanya Police Station. On 24/03/2007 at 1800 hrs on credible information PSI Subramanya PS along with his staff conducted a raid on public place at Hariharapallthadka village Sullia Taluk and seized 6 cocks and cash Rs. 400/ by arresting Jayarama, Kushalappa Gowda, Satheesha, Bhashkara and Babu Naika who were indulged in betting on cock fighting.
In this connection, a case has been registered against the arrested persons in Subramanya PS U/s 87 of the Karnataka Police Act
