- A case under Cruelty by husband along with Hurt has been registered in Belthangady Police Station on the complaint of one Seethavathi W/o Vasu Shetty R/o Bayalu Neriya village Belthangady Taluk. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Vasu Shetty (husband) R/o Bayalu Neriya village Belthangady Taluk gave physical and mental harassment to one Seethavathi and he assaulted her with wooden stick on 13/08/2005 at 1100 hrs.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 24/03/2008 at 2315 hrs at Charmady Ghats Charmady village Belthangady Taluk one driver of Tanker lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-18-A-2036 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which lorry capsized. As a result lorry driver and Rajashekara cleaner of said lorry sustained simple injuries.

On 25/03/2008 at 2000 hrs accused Honnappa, Shekara and Harisha abused one Shekara (23) R/o Seegeballe Vittal Town Bantwal Taluk in filthy language and assaulted him with stone near his house. The motive seems to be to civil dispute between them.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. In between 24/03/2008 at 0545 hrs and 25/03/2008 at 2100 hrs one Krishna R/o Saroodaya Nagara Karwara District accidentally slipped into the pond while fishing at Kandathpalli Mangalore and died due drowning.
- A case under Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 25/03/2008 at 2100 hrs one Vinod (28) R/o near New Chithra Theater Mangalore attempted to commit suicide by jumping into the well near his house owing to financial problem. He died while on the way to hospital.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 25/03/2008 at 0800 one Thomas D’ Souza R/o Melkar Panemangalore village Bantwal Taluk committed suicide by hanging in his house owing to personal problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Subramanya Police Station. In between 25/03/2008 and 26/03/2008 at 0815 hrs one Hoovappa Gowda (25) R/o Nerpu Ancheri Nalkuru village Sullia Taluk committed suicide by hanging near his house owing to personal problem.

- A case of Woman missing has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. One Roby D’ Souza (35) R/o Karmika Colony Shakthinagara Mangalore who went to work at Manipal on 19/02/2008 at 0830 hrs and did not return to her house thereafter. She has been found missing since then.
