- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 01/06/2008 at 2015 hrs at Saaradka Kepu village Bantwal Taluk one Ravindra rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-3802 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and applied break suddenly due which motorcycle capsized. As a result motorcycle rider Ravindra and Srilatha (24) pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained serious injuries. Further Srilatha was admitted to City hospital at Mangalore where she succumbed to her while under treatment on same day at 2230 hrs.

On 01/06/2008 at 2030 hrs near Sacred Heart School at Kulashekara Mangalore one Raheem rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-6059 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Nawaz (23) R/o Adyar Padav village Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 01/06/2008 at 1800 hrs at Adu Amblamogaru village Mangalore Taluk one Vincent D Souza driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-9467 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Rithin a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinnagady Police Station. On 02/06/2008 at 0500 hrs at Budujalu Nidle village Belthangady Taluk one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-F-1839 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which bus capsized. As a result Maridas (39) R/o Saragooru Sheshadripura Mysore and other 12 persons who were traveling in the said bus sustained grievous injuries.

(48) R/o Kuntupuni Boliyaru village Mangalore Taluk in filthy language near his house and also gave life threat to him owing to personal enmity.

On 31/05/2008 at 2300 hrs at Cassia Church ground Morgansgate Jeppu Mangalore accused Sandeep, Ravi, Dikshith and others abused one Pradeep R/o Jeppenamogeru Mangalore in filthy language and assaulted him with wicket and stone and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. In between 31/05/2008 and 02/06/2008 at 1300 hrs one Thaniyappa Gowda (50) was found dead near Nethravathi Snanghatta at Dharmastala village Belthangady Taluk. The death seems to be due to drowning.
