- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 26/06/2008 at 0845 hrs at Kalpane Kulashekara Mangalore one Rajesh driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-7595 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against another auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-2613 driven by Nagesh Shetty (52) R/o Padil Mangalore due which both vehicle capsized. As a result Rajesh and Nagesh Shetty drivers of auto rickshaws, Emilian Stella D’ Coasta, Fila D’ Souza, Abhishek and Cisal Lobo passengers who were traveling in said auto rickshaws sustained serious injuries. Further one Emilian Stella D’ Coasta succumbed to her injuries while on the way to hospital.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 25/06/2008 at 1950 hrs at Bavutagudde Mangalore one driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-4032 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Mumthaz (32) a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries. The auto rickshaw driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal accident has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 25/06/2008 at 0600 hrs in front of Muda office at Urwastore Mangalore one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-6597 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Abbas (38) R/o Kavoor Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries. The motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 26/06/2008 at 1045 hrs at Kaikamba Kandavara village Mangalore Taluk one Jayaraja Jain driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-20-B-2323 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against another bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-1129 driven by Padmanabha Rai. As a result bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-1129 got damaged. No causalities reported.
- A case of Non Fatal accident has been registered in Mangalore Rura Police Station. On 26/06/2008 at 0830 hrs at Kandettu Padavu village Mangalore Taluk one Jayarama driver of JCB bearing Reg. No. KA-32-7099 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Tempo rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-9623 due which the Tempo rickshaw capsized. As a result Tempo rickshaw driver Abdul Rasheed, Srinivas Salian J.K. R/o Marakada Mangalore and Sundram who were traveling in the said Tempo rickshaw sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kada Police Station. On 21/06/2008 at 1800 hrs at Jarigundy Perabe village Puttur Taluk one Prashanth Rai driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-21-3979 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-6607 driven by one Manjunath. As a result one Siddik (28) R/o Suruli Perabe village Puttur Taluk pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.

On 26/006/2008 at 0915 hrs accused Abbas (50) R/o Farangipete Pudu village Bantwal Taluk, Mohammed Ansar, Ibrahim, Basheer and Razak forming into an unlawful assembly in front of A.S. Vegetable shop at Central Market Mangalore and abused one Farooq (28) R/o Farangipete Pudu village Bantwal Taluk in filthy language and assaulted him with sickle and also gave life threat to him owing to financial issue.

On 26/006/2008 at 1335 hrs accused Vijaya, Susheel, Nishad, Nasir, Vinod, Sharun, Nithin and Nithesh D’ Souza forming into an unlawful assembly and criminally restrained one Sandeep Shetty (24) R/o Kudupady Jeppu Mangalore near Kanthi Church at Mangaladevi Mangalore and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 26/06/2008 at 1400 hrs one dead body of Singappa Fakirappa Singannavar (55) R/o Badami Taluk Bagalakote District was found at Bus stand at Urwastore Mangalore. The death seems to be some illness.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 26/06/2008 at 1500 hrs one Umesh Kumar (26) R/o Madhuguri Barimaru village Bantwal Taluk was accidently slipped into the well near his house while taking water from the well. Further he was admitted to the Govt. hospital at Mani Bantwal Taluk where he was declared dead while under treatment on the same day at 1730 hrs.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 26/06/2008 at 0900 hrs one Eshwara (50) R/o Adpanjgaya Ajjavara village Sullia Taluk comitted suicide by hanging in his house owing to health problem.

- A case of Man missing has been registered in Vittal Police Station. One Jayarama Shettigar (45) R/o Uliyathadka Salethuru village Bantrwal Taluk went to work on 14/06/2008 and did not return his house there after. He has been found missing since then.
