- A case of Robbery has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station relating to an incident of chain snatching. On 03/06/2008 at 0600 hrs near car street at Prathagali Gokarnatha Mangalore one Lakshmi Rao (73) R/o Golden Chember MPT Mangalore was on her way from home to Sharavu Temple by walk. At that time accused one unknown person came near her and snatched the gold chain from her neck and ran away. The total worth of stolen property is Rs. 31, 000/.

In the complaint it is alleged that accused Mohamed Zakeer (husband) and his relatives Mohammed Sadique, Hjirabi, Rukzna, Mohammed Shaheer and Riyaz all residents of Chikkamagalore district gave physical and mental harassment to one Badurnnisa to bring more dowry and also gave life threat her.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 03/06/2008 at 0510 hrs near Badriya hotel Mangalore one driver of Eicher Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-3893 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-20-9684. As a result Brammavva (32) R/o Muthalakeri Bagalakote district and Shankaravva who were traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 02/06/2008 at 2215 hrs at Bappanadu junction at Bappanadu village Mangalore one Suresh Hedge driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-01-C-8642 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Maxi cab bearing Reg. No. KA-20-1929 from behind. Further Maxi cab driver lost control over his vehicle due which Maxi cab capsized. As a result Nagasubba Reddy (23) R/o Akkampete village Baduvil Taluk Kadapa district Andrapradesh State and Sanjaya Kumar who were traveling in the said Maxi cab sustained simple injuries.

On 28/05/2008 at 2130 hrs at Mulki Billava Sangha at Bappanadu village Mangalore Taluk one Nagaraja rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-7850 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed a Honda Activa scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-3740. As a result one Niyas rider of Honda Activa scooter sustained grievous injuries. Further motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

On 03/06/2008 at 0825 hrs on NH 17 at Kapikadu Ullal village Mangalore Taluk one Jagadheesha driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-D-7864 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Maruti car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N-8843. As a result Sachin (32) R/o Dwarakanagara Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk, Nishith, Shashikanth, Santhosh, Narendra and Chandrashekara Shetty who were traveling in the bus sustained grievous injuries.

No. KA-19-6313 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-5978. As a result Ramesh motorcycle rider and Harshitha (13) R/o Elanthila village Belthangady Taluk pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.
