On 12/06/2008 in between 1310 hrs and 1420 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the room No. 212 at Hotel Rathna Sharaton Kulur Mangalore belonging to one Chinna Lakshmayya C/o M/s E2e Supply chain Solutions Ltd. and committed theft of cash Rs. 1, 52, 000/.

In between 17/06/2008 at 2200 hrs and 18/06/2008 at 0530 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a Maruti Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-31-N-7677 belonging to one Bhasheer R/o Sajipa Bantwal Town that was parked near Railway Station at Mangalore. The Maruti Omni car is worth Rs. 45,000/.
- A case of MV Theft has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 17/06/2008 in between 2030 hrs and 2230 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a Maruti Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-18-M-104 belonging to one Rekha S. Prabhu R/o Chikkamagalore District that was parked in front of Cheery Square Restaurant at Upper Bendoor Mangalore. The Maruti Omni car is worth Rs. 40,000/.

- A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 17/06/2008 at 0910 hrs accused one Abdul Azeez R/o Mukka Surathkal Mangalore abused one Nafisa (48) R/o Bandasale Mukka Surathkal Mangalore in filthy language near her house and assaulted her by hand and also gave life threat to her owing to trivial issue.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 18/06/2008 at 1930 hrs in front of Sanman Hotel at Pumpwell Mangalore one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-20-A-14 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Karantha K.R. a pedestrian and caused him serious injuries. Further he was admitted to Wenlock Hospital at Mangalore where he declared dead while under treatment on same day.
- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 18/06/2008 at 1700 hrs at Addahole Shirady village Belthangady Taluk one driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-09-a-8343 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against car bearing Reg. No. KA-04-MB-7488. As a result Ambareesh driver of car and Sathyanarayana who was traveling in the car sustained serious injures and died on the spot. Further Hareesh A Bhat (54) R/o Bangalore, Pavan Kumar and Prapulla who were traveling in the said car sustained grievous injuries.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 18/06/2008 at 1215 hrs at Kottara Chowki Mangalore one unknown rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-L-2819 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-7594 driven by one Shanthala B. Baliga R/o Kodikal cross Mangalore. As a result car got damaged. No casualties reported. The motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 18/06/2008 at 1330 hrs at Panjinadayi Gadardy village Belthangady Taluk one Praveen Chandra driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-9697 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Maruti Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-21-M-2375. As a result Padmanabha Indra T driver of Maurti Omni car and Bharath who was traveling in the said Maruti Omni car sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 18/06/2008 at 1700 hrs at Kashibettu Layila village Belthangady Taluk one driver of goods tempo rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-9452 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and applied break suddenly without giving signal due which motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-8447 which was behind the goods tempo rickshaw rammed to it from back. As a result one Fr. Anil rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 18/06/2008 at 0800 hrs near Church at Belthangady Town one Hakeem driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-E-4073 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-E-2255. As a result Chethan (20) R/o Alekki Kalmanja village Belthangady Taluk motorcycle and Roshan pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

On 16/06/2008 at 2030 hrs Venkappa Gowda (43) R/o Mundrupadi Dharmasthala village Belthangady Taluk and Dharnappa (36) R/o Kayarthadka Kalachija village Belthangady Taluk who were accidentally slipped into the Netravathi at Snanagatta Dharmasthala village Belthangady Taluk while taking bath and both were died due drowning.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. On 19/06/2008 at 0600 hrs one Mohini (21) R/o Vasakadame Koila village Puttur Taluk Taluk accidentally slipped into pond while taking bath and died due to drowning.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 19/06/2008 in between 0600 hrs and 0615 hrs one Meenakshi (45) R/o Kolathamajalu site house Badagabellur village Bantwal Taluk while accidentally touched the electric wire while walking her house due which she got electrocuted and died on the spot.

- A case of Girl missing has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. One Vishalakshi H.R. (22) D/o Ramappa H.R. R/o Davangere District who was working in Consumer World Shop at Kadri Kambala Mangalore went to her Sales work on 15/06/2008 at 0900 hrs and did not return to the said shop there after. She has been found missing since then.
