- A case of MV Theft has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 24/06/2008 in between 1000 hrs and 1245 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a Maruti 800 car bearing Reg. No. KA-21-M-1935 belonging to one Dr. Geetha Bai (59) R/o Badla hills Padil Mangalore that was parked near Family planning center at Kadri Mangalore. The Maruti car is worth Rs. 45, 000/.

On 24/06/2008 at 1830 hrs at Rottigudde Thumbe village Bantwal Town one Shobha (08) R/o Rottigudde Thumbe village Bantwal Taluk was on her way to home by walk. At that time accused one Nowfal (31) R/o Rottigudde Thumbe village Bantwal Town criminally restrained her and tried to outraged her modesty by pulling her hand and also gave life threat her.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 23/06/2008 at 1955 hrs at Lalbagh Mangalore one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-2473 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-20-N-2734 from behind driven by one Nithin B. Shetty R/o Katapady Mangalore. As a result jeep got damaged. No causalities reported.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 21/06/2008 at 0930 hrs at Kudumbur Mangalore one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-1575 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed one Kotrash (30) R/o Navilugonda Taluk Darwada District a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 23/06/2008 at 1830 hrs at Anegundi Kanakamajalu village Sullia Taluk one unknown driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. Ka-19-B-5208 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-4522. As a result one Chandrahasa Mururu (30) R/o Mandekolu village Sullia Taluk rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries. The lorry driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 24/06/2008 at 1730 hrs at Panjolmar Palke Ujire village Belthangady Taluk one Devasya driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-8500 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result Devasya driver of auto rickshaw, Tomy P.V. (36) R/o Gandibagilu Neriya village Belthangady Taluk who was traveling the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. One Juliyna Thouro (32) R/o Alde Navoor village Bantwal Taluk committed suicide by jumping into well near her house owing to health problem.
