- A case under Attempt to commit theft has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. In between 04/06/2008 at 1210 hrs and 05/06/2008 at 0900 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the Post office at Chikkamundoor village Puttur Taluk by breaking the door lock and attempted to committed theft.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 05/06/2008 at 1830 hrs near Bhrama Muger Temple at Ikala village Mangalore Taluk one driver of Tipper lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-6262 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-05-ER-8432 driven by one Mohammed Meeraj (24) R/o Gandhiganz Bidar district. As a result one Sneha (23) pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained serious injures. Further she succumbed to her injuries while on the way to hospital.

No. KA-19-B-8586 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-18-K-4980. As a result Vincent T. (49) R/o KIOCL Quarters Kavoor Mangalore motorcycle rider and his wife Marry Vincent pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injures.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 31/05/2008 at 1930 hrs at Gramachavadi Konaje Mangalore one Anil driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-20-7789 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Lakshmi (72) R/o Harekala village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries. The auto rickshaw driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

On 05/06/2008 at 1200 hrs near Dharmastala Main Gate at Dharmastala village Belthangady Taluk one unknown rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-9605 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Vimala (25) R/o Kadirudyavara village Belthangady Taluk a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries. The motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered Uppinangady Police Station. On 04/06/2008 at 1030 hrs at Shirad Ghat Shiradi village Puttur Taluk one Raghuveer driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-02-B-4288 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against Eichar lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-23-8668. As a result Jayasoorya, Uma and Yellamma who were traveling in the said Eichar lorry sustained simple injuries.

No. KA-19-S-5793 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Chandrashekar a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

On 05/06/2008 at 1215 hrs accused Talwar Jagga @ Jagadheesha and another one criminally trespassed into the house belonging to one Chandrakala Kamath (50) W/o Ananda Kamath R/o Ananda Nivasa Bolooru Mangalore and attempted to kill her husband Ananda Kamath by assaulting him with knife. They also assaulted Chandrakala Kamath by hand who came to help her husband.

On 05/06/2008 at 1330 hrs accused Kashmir Pinto, Naveen, Wilfred and Rama Naika abused one Chandrahas Shetty (48) R/o Ballya Barimaru village Bantwal Taluk in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and with wooden stick and also gave life threat to him owing personal enmity.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 04/06/2008 at 0700 hrs one Parvathi (66) R/o Mullia Ajjavara village Sullia Taluk attempted to commit suicide by consuming poison in his house owing personal problem. Further she was admitted to Govt. hospital at Sullia where she declared dead while under treatment on the same day.

- A case of Man missing has been registered in Ullal Police Station. One Basavaraja (17) R/o Prakashnagara Pandith house Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk left his house on 01/06/2008 at 1000 hrs and did not return his house there after. He has been found missing since then.
