- A case of MV Theft has been registered in Panambur Police Station. In between 12/06/2008 at 1730 hrs and 13/06/2008 at 0700 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a Tipper lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-9497 belonging to one Deepak D’Souza (35) R/o Bolur Mangalore owner of High Seas Shipping Agency that was parked at Yard near Export Trade Link Office at Panambur Mangalore. The Tipper lorry is worth Rs. 16,43,025/.

- A case under Cruelty by Husband has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station on the complaint of Philomina (31) W/o Raja R/o Shivanagara Padil Alape village Mangalore Taluk. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Raja (husband) gave physical and mental harassment to one Philomina owing to family dispute.
- A case under Rape, Criminal intimidation along with Cheating has been registered in Kadaba Police Station where in it is alleged that accused one Saji had sexual intimacy with a nineteen year girl of Koppa Noojibalthila village Puttur Taluk by promising to marry her and due which she became pregnant. There upon he cheated her by refusing to marry her and he also gave life threat to her.

On 12/06/2008 at 1130 hrs at Jeppina Mogeru Mangalore one Dr. Ganesh Prasad driver of Maruti Indica car bearing Reg. No. KA-21-M-3567 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-563. As a result one Rusayee Vincent Pinto driver of said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 12/06/2008 at 1500 hrs near Pai Parivara Hotel at Moodabidre Mangalore one driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-14-6059 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an electric pole due which electric pole got damaged. The damage is caused about Rs. 21,043/. No casualties Reported.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 13/06/2008 at 1900 hrs at Kelagina Vagga Kavalapadoor village Bantwal Taluk one Chandra Prasad driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-21-7745 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-F-2635 driven by one Padmanabha (50) R/o Arkula village Mangalore Taluk. As a result KSRTC bus got damaged. No causalities reported.

No. KA-19-F-2019 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Rajashekara Swami H. M. (46) C/o Sahyadri Institute of Technology a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 12-06-2008 at 1530 hrs at Kolpe Konalu village Puttur Taluk one driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-34-7956 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-21-126. As a result one Subbanna Mogera (35) R/o Ambody Patrame village Belthangady Taluk and other passengers who were traveling in the said jeep sustained grievous injuries.

On 13/06/2008 at 0830 hrs accused Mansel D’Souza, Sunil D’Souza, Ciril D’Souza, Avil D’Souza and Anil D’Souza forming into an unlawful assembly at Barimaru Bantwal Taluk abused one Maxim D’ Souza (50) R/o Barimaru village Bantwal Taluk in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him. The motive seems to be civil dispute between Maxim D’ Souza and accused persons.

The motive seems to be civil dispute between Elija D’Souza and accused persons.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 12/06/2008 at 2230 hrs Dr. Vijaya Singh, his wife Savitha and their children Shruthi, and Shivamsha (14) R/o HSR Layout Bangalore attempted to commit suicide by consuming pesticides in their room at Hindustan lodge at Mangalore owing to financial problem. Further they were admitted to Govt. hospital at Mangalore where in Dr. Vijaya Singh declared dead while under treatment on same day.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Subramanya Police Station. On 12/06/2008 at 1700 hrs one Vishwanatha (30) R/o Devachalla village Sullia Taluk accidentally slipped into the pond while walking at Kadthal Kaje Guthigaru village Sullia Taluk and died due to drowning.
