- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 09/06/2008 at 1800 hrs at Kaikamba Kandavara village Mangalore Taluk one rider of new motorcycle drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Janaki a pedestrian and caused her grievous injures. Further she was admitted Wenlock hospital at Mangalore where she succumbed to her injures while under treatment on 1700 hrs.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 09/06/2008 at 1815 hrs on NH17 at Tharethota Nanthoor Mangalore one unknown lorry driver bearing Reg. No. KA-07-4809 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a car bearing Reg. No. KL-13-R-2183 driven by one Aleem N.K.P. (29) R/o Hosadurga Taluk Kasaragod district Kerala State. As a result car got damaged. No causalities reported.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 06/06/2008 at 1200 hrs near M.V Shetty Circle at Mangalore one auto rickshaw driver bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-5381 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-5844. As a result one Praveen (24) R/o Ullal Mangalore rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 09/06/2008 at 0845 hrs at Madanthyaru Maladi village Belthangady Taluk one Adam driver of Pickup vehicle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-9508 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-E-7301. As a result Adiraja Chowta scooter rider and his daughter Ashwini pillion rider of said scooter sustained simple injures.

- A case of Boy missing has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. One Surajuddin (16) R/o Kalkuri Sangabettu village Bantwal Taluk went to school at Siddakatte Bantwal Taluk on 03/06/2008 at 0815 hrs and did return his house there after. He has been found missing since then.
