• A case of Burglary has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. On the intervening night of 20-21/06/2008 some unknown culprits gained entry into DKZPHP School at Koila village Puttur Taluk by breaking the door lock and committed theft of 3 Gas cylinders belonging to Akshara Dasoha Yojane. The worth of stolen property is Rs. 2, 850/.

• A case of MV Theft has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On the intervening night of 24-25/06/2008 some unknown culprits committed theft of a Tipper lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-21-8326 belonging to one Kunhappan P.C (49) R/o Kalmanja village Belthangady Taluk that was parked near Janardhana Garage at Ujire village Belthangady Taluk. The Tipper lorry is worth Rs. 2,00, 000/.

• A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 25/06/2008 at 2130 hrs in front of NMPT Kurikatta gate at Panambur Mangalore one Hariharan driver of Tipper lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-8051 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Bhaskara (42) a pedestrian and caused him serious injuries and died on the spot.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 25/06/2008 at 0830 hrs near Nehru Maidan at Mangalore one driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-3832 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Padhmini R/o Lady Goshan hospital quarters Mangalore a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 22/06/2008 at 0530 hrs near Church at Derebail Mangalore one Kiran driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-4782 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result one Yathin (21) R/o Bejai Mangalore who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained grievous injuries.

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 25/06/2008 at 2000 hrs one Vasanthi (56) R/o Kemral village Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by hanging in her house owing to health problem.

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 25/06/2008 at 1500 hrs one Sachin (18) R/o Kolachekambla Bappanadu village Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by hanging in his house owing to personal problem.

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Sullia Police Station. In between 23/06/2008 and 25/06/2008 at 1000 hrs one Umesha (40) R/o Kallagundi Sampaje village Sullia Taluk committed suicide by hanging near his house owing to financial problem.

Missing Persons: 01

• A case of Woman and Child missing has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. One Chandrakala (25) W/o Manju B R/o Sooterpete Mangalore left her house with her daughter Nehasri (04) on 22/06/2008 hrs and did not return to her house there after. They have been found missing since then.
