Murder: 01

  • A case of Murder has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 20/06/2008 at 2130 Kodakkal Alape village Mangalore accused Yvaraja (25) R/o Kannur Village Mangalore assaulted one Jithendra with wooden stick and got serious injuries and admitted to Colaco Hospital Mangalore. He however breathed his last enroute on 21/06/1430 hrs.

  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 20/06/2008 at 2200 hrs near Mallikatte Mangalore one Kanwar Kulsar Sandhu rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-576 drove his vehicle in rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which the vehicle capsized. As a result Kanwar Kulsar Sandhu rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.
  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 20/06/2008 at 2150 hrs at HML Weigh bridge Panambur Mangalore one Deshanth driver of Tempo Traveller bearing Reg. No. KA-13-8663 drove his vehicle in rash and negligent manner and dashed aginst a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-3223. As a result motorcycle rider Sharath (23) R/o Kallapu Thokkottu Mangalore and Prashanth pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

Unnatural Death Report: 02

  • A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 21/06/2008 at 1830 hrs one Sushmitha R/o Arunachal Pradesh was found dead at Harikerthi Apartments Shivabagh Mangalore. The death seems to be due to some illness.
  • A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 21/06/2007 at 1300 hrs one Kusumavathi (47) R/o Kadirudyavara Village Belthangady Taluk accidentally slipped into the Nethravathi river near her house while washing her clothes and died due drowning.

Missing Persons: 01

  • A case of Girl missing has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. One Suguna (30) R/o Monkey stand Mangalore who went to her relatives house at Bantwal Taluk on 21/06/2008 at 1130 hrs and did not return to her house there after. She has been found missing since then.
