- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 06/06/2008 at 2100 hrs near Battagudde junction at Bejai Mangalore one driver of Maruti Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-M-6397 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Bhavani Shankara (33) R/o Udayanagara Near KPT Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 06/06/2008 at 1715 hrs on NH 17 near NITK STEP at Surathkal Mangalore one driver of lorry bearing Reg. KA-16-A-8821 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-06-D-999 driven by one Manju S. Hathwar (36) R/o Hosabettu Mangalore. As a result car got damaged. No casualties reported.

- A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 06/06/2008 at 2145 hrs accused Shipaz, Razak, Hussain and Sajan @ Munna abused one Abdul Khadar (35) R/o 2nd block Katipalla Mangalore in filthy language near his house and assaulted him by hand. The motive seems to be that one Abdul Khadar had earlier lodged a complaint against accused in Surathkal Police Station.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 07/06/2008 at 1500 hrs one Govinda (34) accidentally slipped in to the Gurupura river at Kudru Bengre Mangalore while washing a boat at Gurupura river and died due drowning.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 07/06/2008 at 1100 hrs one unknown dead body aged about 55 yrs to 60 yrs was found near Snanaghatta at Dharmastala village Belthangady Taluk. Identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.

- A case of Boy missing has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 03/06/2008 at 0815 hrs one Royal Rithesh Rodrigus (16) R/o Kolajegundi Rayee village Bantwal Taluk went to school at Siddakatte Bantwal Taluk and did not return his house there after. He has been found missing since then.
