On the night of 04-05/06/2008 some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Safiya (42) R/o Indinara Nagara house Narimogaru village Puttur Taluk by breaking ventilation window and committed theft of gold ornaments and cash Rs. 2,000/ all in worth Rs. 18, 000/.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 10/06/2008 at 1420 hrs near Kashi Sadhan at Dongarakeri Mangalore one Arun driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-8018 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and applied break suddenly due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result one Vinod Kumar R/o Kudupu village Mangalore Taluk who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 11/06/2008 at 1230 hrs at Lalbagh Mangalore one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AA-786 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-6339. As a result Hussainar rider of motorcycle and pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 10/06/2008 at 1730 hrs at Maria Premagudde Maroli village Mangalore Taluk one Steevan Fernandez rider of scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19H-4171drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Baptist D’Souza R/o Maroli Kulshekara Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 11/06/2008 at 1100 hrs at Sunnadagood at Charmadi village Belthangady Taluk one Mohammed driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-5832 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result Mohammed driver of auto rickshaw, Sundara P.S. (40) R/o Charmady village Belthangady Taluk, Nazir, Mohammad Kunhi who were traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.

- A case of Boys missing has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. Chandra (14) and Rohith (11) went Sriram School at Kalladka Gothamanjalu village Bantwal Taluk on 11/06/2008 at 0800 hrs and did not return to their house there after. They have been found missing since then.
