In between 05/06/2008 at 2230 hrs and 06/06/208 at 0530 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Shankara Gowda (49) R/o Swamila Padavu Bajpe village Mangalore Taluk by breaking the door lock and committed theft of gold ornaments all in worth Rs. 42,000/.

- A case of MV Theft has been registered in Barke Police Station. In between 17/05/2008 at 1550 hrs and 20/05/2008 some unknown culprits committed theft of a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-13-R-8075 belonging to one Mohan (28) R/o K.E.B. Quarters Kavoor Mangalore that was parked at parking place of KSRTC bus stand at Bejai Mangalore. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 35,000/.

On 06/06/2008 at 1045 hrs at Budoli Peraje village Bantwal Taluk one unknown vehicle driver drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Sathish a pedestrian and caused him serious injures and died on the spot. Further unknown vehicle driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

No. KA-25-B-9512 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-2344. As a result one Rakesh (32) R/o Bajjody Mangalore rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injures.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 29/05/2008 at 1700 hrs near Fharla Navoor village Bantwal Taluk one Jayesh rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-3835 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Osalwa Pinto a pedestrian and caused him simple injures.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 06/06/2008 at 0650 hrs on NH 48 at Thumbe Bantwal Taluk one Bharathraj driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-F-1945 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-44-384 driven by one Nagaraj (23) R/o Hiriyoor Tumakur district. As a result Nagaraj driver of the said lorry sustained simple injures.
