- A case of Burglary has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On the intervening night of 03-04/06/2008 some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Prabha J. Shenoy (65) R/o Shenoy Compound Monkeystand Mangalore by breaking the door lock and committed theft of gold ornaments. The worth of stolen property is yet to be estimated.

- A case of MV Theft has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On the intervening night of 04-05/06/2008 some unknown culprits committed theft of a Scropio car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-ME-5544 beloning to one Upendra Naik (48) R/o S.N. Temple road Maroli village Mangalore Taluk that was parked near his house. The Scropio car is worth Rs. 5,50,000/

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 04/06/2008 at 1740 hrs at Paldane Kudupu Mangalore one unknown driver of tempo bearing Reg. No. KL-58-A-5160 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-13-S-6524. As a result Chitti Babu (30) R/o Kanapathaggu Maroli Mangalore motorcycle rider and Balamurugan pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries. Further Balamurugan was admitted to City hospital at Mangalore where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on the same day. The tempo driver escaped from the place leaving his vehicle.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 04/06/2008 at 1000 hrs on M.G. Road at Ballalbagh Mangalore one Everst D Souza driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-6473 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one unknown pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered Mangalore East Police Station. On 03/06/2008 at 1740 hrs near bus stand at Nanthoor Mangalore one Rafique (40) R/o Mullarpatna Bantwal Taluk passenger of the bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-4505 while getting down from the bus, the driver of bus moved the bus in a negligent manner due which he fell down from the bus and sustained grievous injuries.

On 03/06/2008 at 1610 hrs on Mudipu-Natekal at Kalkata Manjanady village MangaloreTaluk one Mohammed Haneef driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-512 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due auto rickshaw capsized. As a result Ibrahim A.E. (58) R/o Manjanady village Mangalore Taluk, Safiya and Podiyabba who were traveling said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.

On 04/06/2008 at 1215 hrs at Salmara Chikkamudnoor village Puttur Taluk one Gangadhara driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KL-14-B-8548 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-J-9485. As a result Vignesh (18) R/o Bolwar Puttur Town motorcycle rider and Nithish pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

- A case under Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 04/06/2008 at 1700 hrs accused Kinni Gowda @ Shivappa Gowda R/o Thenkila Puttur Town assaulted one Joseph (50) R/o Thenkila Puttur Town with wooden stick near his house and also gave life threat to him owing to financial dispute between them.
