- A case under Robbery has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 28/06/2008 at 1600 hrs one Faizal (28) R/o Kallapu Permannur village Mangalore Taluk was his way to home in a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-1177. At the time six unknown persons came in two motorcycles and stopped his motorcycle at Kambla Padavu Pajeer village Mangalore Taluk and assaulted him by hand and took a Nokia mobile phone and robbed cash Rs. 1,91,575/ from his bag. They also took away his motorcycle. The total value of property taken away is estimated to be Rs. 2,27,575/.

- A case of Burglary has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On the intervening night of 02-03/09/2008 some unknown culprits gained entry into the Music World shop at Bhava building Darbe Puttur Town belonging to one Ajith Kumar (25) R/o Mundoor village Puttur Taluk by breaking the shutter lock and committed theft of 17 mobile phones and cash Rs. 5, 000/ all in worth Rs. 24,000/.

- A case of MV Theft has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 26/06/2008 in between at 2045 hrs and 2100 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a Yamaha motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-4925 belonging to one Prathibha N Shetty R/o Ashoknagar Mangalore that was parked in front of Gloria House at Bejai Mangalore. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 35, 000/.

- A case under Criminal restraint, Hurt, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Criminal intimidation along with Dowry Prohibition Act has been registered in Venoor Police Station on the complaint of one Monamma (32) W/o Ananda Poojary R/o Shirlalu village Belthangady Taluk. In the complaint it is alleged that on 27/06/2008 at 1300 hrs accused Ananda Poojary (husband) criminally restrained her and gave physical and mental harassment to one Monamma to bring more dowry and also gave life threat her.

On 27/06/2008 at 1835 hrs near Kaikamba at Kulshekar Mangalore one Lilly Miranda (33) R/o Manur Adyar village Mangalore passenger of the bus while getting down from the bus, the driver of bus moved the bus in a negligent manner due which she fell down from the bus and sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 28/06/2008 at 0845 hrs near St. Anns College at Mangalore one unknown rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-5236 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Scooty bearing Reg. No. KA-19-4446. As a result one Pratheek (23) R/o Gowri Mutt Street Mangalore rider of said Scooty sustained simple injuries. The motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 27/06/2008 at 2030 hrs on NH 48 at Kalladka Golthamajal village Bantwal Taluk one Elroy D Souza rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-6332 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Shyama Rao (80) R/o Kalladka Golthamajal village Bantwal Taluk a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 22/06/2008 at 1900 hrs on NH 48 at Bolangady Panemangalore village Bantwal Taluk one driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-9375 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-5052. As a result motorcycle rider Dinesh (23) R/o Shamboor village Bantwal Taluk and pillion rider of said motorcycle Koosappa Poojary (30) sustained grievous injuries.
