- A case of MV Theft has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On the intervening night of 15-16/06/2008 some unknown culprits committed theft of an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-A-117 belonging to one Abdul Khader R/o Keremoole Chikkamudnoor village Puttur Taluk that was parked in the premise of his house. The auto rickshaw is worth Rs. 1,00,000/.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 17/06/2008 at 1100 hrs at Derane cross Siribagilu village Puttur Taluk one Balasubramanya Bhat driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-09-A-9090 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a tree. As a result Rukmayya (27) R/o Kaje Kalmakaru village Sullia Taluk and Monappa who were traveling in the said lorry sustained grievous injuries.

- A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 19/06/2008 at 0900 hrs accused Damodhara Rai and Vittal Rai abused one Vrashab (22) R/o Mottethadka Kemminje village Puttur Taluk in filthy language at Thotla Aryapu village Puttur Taluk and assaulted him by hand and with wooden stick and also gave life threat to him. The motive seems to be civil dispute between Vrashab and accused persons.

- A case of Criminal trespass along with Kidnapping has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 18/06/2008 at 1715 hrs accused Srikumar, Sunil Poojary and Prakash Kundar criminally trespassed into the house belonging to one Gladys Rodrigo’s (49) W/o Antony Rodrigo’s R/o Kajeguri Ikala village Mangalore Taluk and kidnapped her daughter one Angalita Avina Alvaries (18) from her house.
- A case under Causing death due to negligence (sec 304 A) has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 19/06/2008 at 1100 hrs while Ravi (30) R/o Kudripadavu Ikala village Mangalore Taluk was unloading the stones from the lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AA-4279 at Ikala Pade Ikala village Mangalore Taluk accused one Manjunatha driver of the said lorry moved the lorry negligently due, which Ravi fell down from the lorry and sustained serious injuries. Further he succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.
- A case of Criminal Trespass along with Mischief causing damage has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 19/06/2008 at 2130 hrs accused four unknown persons criminally trespassed into the shop belonging to one Muralidhara (36) R/o Kodange Bantwal Town near Parliya Nursing Home at Kaikamba Bantwal Town and damaged the Showcase by pelting stones owing to trivial issue.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. One Victor D’ Souza (65) R/o Savanalu village Belthangady Taluk was injured due to snakebite near his house on 25/05/2008. He was admitted to Wenlock hospital where he was declared dead while under treatment on 18/06/2008 at 1900 hrs.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 19/06/2008 at 0600 hrs one Meenakshi (45) R/o Kolthamajalu village Bantwal Taluk while walking near her house accidentally touched the electric wire due which she got electrocuted and died on the spot.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 19/06/2008 at 1500 hrs one Subramanya Naik (35) R/o Kepulu Chikkamudnoor village Puttur Taluk attempted to commit suicide by consuming poison owing to personal problem. Futher he was admitted to hospital where he declared dead while under treatment on the same day.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Subramanya Police Station. On 19/06/2008 at 1700 hrs one Babu (50) R/o Kalpane Subramanya village Belthangady Taluk committed suicide by hanging in his house owing to personal problem.

- A case of Woman missing has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 19/06/2008 at 1700 hrs one Pramila (25) W/o Gangadhara R/o Kagudde Thenkabelluru Bantwal Taluk went to Bus stand at B.C road Bantwal Town and did not return her house there after. She has been found missing since then.
