- A case under House trespass, Outraging the modesty of women along with Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 16/06/2008 at 1730 hrs accused one Honayya criminally trespassed into the house belonging to one Koraga R/o near Kordabbu Daivasthana at Kunjathabail village Mangalore Taluk and abused him in filthy language and tried to outrage the modesty of his daughter Sumithra by pulling her dress and he also assaulted her by hand owing to trivial issue.

On 16/06/2008 at 1500 hrs accused Lingappa Gowda, Vedavathi, Prathima and Poornima abused one Akkamma (50) R/o Noochila Yedamangala village Sullia Taluk in filthy language and assaulted her with sickle, with iron rod and with stone near her house and also gave life threat to her. The motive seems to be civil dispute between Akkamma and accused persons.

No. KA-19-W-5784 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against pedestrians Suma (07) and Uma (05) R/o near New Chithra Theatre at Mangalore and caused them simple injuries.

On 17/06/2008 in between 1500 hrs and 1600 hrs one Prakash (24) R/o Shivajinagara Moodushedde village Mangalore Taluk attempt to committed suicide by hanging in his house owing to financial problem. Further he was admitted to Wenlock hospital at Mangalore where he declared dead while under treatment on same day.

On 17/06/2008 at 0800 hrs one Janardhana Rai (58) R/o Perabe village Puttur Taluk accidentally fell down due some illness in his house. Further he was admitted to Kadaba Govt hospital where he declared dead while under treatment on same day at 0930 hrs. The death seems to be due some illness.
