- A case of Outraging the modesty of women has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 20/06/2008 at 1345 hrs one Thasmia D/o Yusuf R/o Bangera Katte Macchina village Belthangady Taluk while waiting for a bus near Secret Heart College at Madanthyaru Paranki village Belthangady Taluk accused one Janardhana Shettigar came near her and tried to outrage her modesty by pulling her hand.

- A case of Fatal road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station where in one Rohinatha Shetty (45) R/o Jedarahithlu Kotekaru village Mangalore Taluk has been declared dead while under treatment on 21/06/2008 at 0140 hrs. The said Rohinatha Shetty was seriously injured by a Maruti car in a road traffic accident on 15/06/2008 at 2000 hrs on NH 17 at Beeri Kotekaru village Mangalore Taluk and admitted to the City Hospital at Mangalore. In this connection a case has been already registered in Ullal Police Station.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered Moodabidre Police Station. On 20/06/2008 at 1330 hrs at Bannadka Padumarnadu village Mangalore Taluk one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-7932 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Jhanaki (49) a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered Bajpe Police Station. On 20/06/2008 at 0900 hrs at Ambika Nagara Paduperara village Mangalore Taluk one Mohammed Azeem rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-59 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Seetharama Poojary R/o Ambika Nagara Paduperara village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.

- A case under Rioting, Criminal trespass, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 20/06/2008 at 0730 hrs accused Sharada, Jyothi, Nalini, Poovappa, Ashoka and Shekara forming into an unlawful assembly criminally trespassed into the land belonging to one Lydia Norona at Anbeddu Shirthady village Mangalore Taluk and abused her in filthy language and assaulted her by hand and also gave life threat to her. The motive seems to be civil dispute between Lydia and accused persons.

- A case under Criminal trespass, Hurt, Mischief of causing damage along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 20/06/2008 at 1500 hrs accused one Lydia Norona criminally trespassed into the land belonging to one Poovappa Poojary (50) at Anbeddu Shirthady village Mangalore Taluk and assaulted his wife Sharada Poojarthi by hand and damaged the compound hall and also gave life threat to them. The motive seems to be civil dispute between Poovappa Poojary and accused person.
- A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 19/05/2008 at 2200 hrs accused one Razak G.A. rider of scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-F-6182 criminally restrained one Zakaria at Gumpukallu Kavalapadoor village Bantwal Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and with knife owing to trivial issue.

In between 09/06/2008 and 20/06/2008 at 1730 hrs accused one Prakash Malli abused one Breyan Soans (29) R/o Balmatta New road Mangalore in filthy language by phone and also gave life threat to him owing to financial issue.
- A case of Counterfeit currency notes has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station regarding the finding the Counterfeit currency note of Rs.500/, during daily cash transaction in Vijaya Bank currency Chest at Darbe Puttur Town on 18/06/2008 at 1600 hrs.
