On 04/10/2008 at 1530 hrs at Adamkudru Jappinamogaru village Mangalore Taluk one unknown driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KL-13-A-1881 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AC-8888. As a result bus driver one Dinesh S. (32) R/o Ira village Bantwal Taluk sustained simple injuries. The driver of lorry escaped from the place without his vehicle.

- A case of Boy missing has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 05/10/2008 at 0945 hrs at Ullal Sea shore Mangalore one Chand Pasha (18) R/o Bangalore accidentally slipped and washed away in the sea while he was playing at seashore Ullal and found missing. His body has also not been traced so far.
