On 07/10/2008 at 1300 hrs on credible information PSI Vittal PS along with his staff intercepted a Scorpio car bearing Reg. No. KL-10-S-3040 at Noojibail Junction Kolnadu village Bantwal Taluk and seized 15 cans (each 35 Lts) rectified spirit being transported illegally. However accused driver of said car managed to escape from the place. The Scorpio car has also been seized.
Total worth of rectified spirit seized is Rs. 52,500/ and value of Scorpio car is Rs. 7,52,500/.
In this connection, a case has been registered in Vittal PS under Karnataka Excise Act.
