- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 24/10/2008 at 1400 hrs near Gandhipark at Mannagudde Mangalore one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-K-3171 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-7420 due which auto rickshaw capsized. As result motorcycle rider, pillion rider and Udaya Kumar (37) R/o Konchady Mangalore driver of auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 24/10/2008 at 1200 hrs near Corporation Bank at Mukka Mangalore one Charlie driver of Tipper lorry bearing Reg. No. KL-13-L-2330 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-5726. As a result one Ramesh Salian (31) R/o Mulki Mangalore rider of motorcycle sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 23/10/2008 at 1500 hrs at M.V. Shetty cross road at Handelu Putthige village Mangalore Taluk one Hameed rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-9461 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Tata Indica car bearing Reg. No. KA-04-A-4435. As a result motorcycle rider Hameed and Pooja who was traveling in the said Tata Indica car sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 24/10/2008 at 1120 hrs on Belthangady –Guruvayanakere road at Belthangady Town one Suresh Bhat driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-2522 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-A-607 due which auto rickshaw capsized. As result auto rickshaw driver, Ramachandra R/o Navoor village Belthangady Taluk and other two passengers who were traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. On 21/10/2008 at 1330 hrs at Kenjala Kombaru village Puttur Taluk one Ranganatha rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-16-A-883 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-21-A-3588 driven by Ramachandra K (37) R/o Kokkada village Belthangady Taluk. As a result one Roshan who was traveling in the said car sustained simple injuries.

- A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt, Mischief causing damage along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 24/10/2008 at 0700 hrs accused one Govinda Bhat, Sham Singh, Sadashiva and Girish Bhat abused one Lokananda Devadiga M. (57) R/o Arya Samaja road Mangalore in filthy language near his house and assaulted him by hand and damaged the camera and also gave life threat to him owing to civil dispute between them.
- A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 07/10/2008 at 2100 hrs accused Ismail, Sanu Saheb, Razak, Ummar and Shareef criminally restrained one Rehamathulla (45) R/o Mandottu Nellikaru Nallur village Karkala Taluk near his house and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him with hand and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

- A case of Man missing has been registered in Puttur Ruaral Police Station. One Janardhana Poojary R/o Keyyur village Puttur Taluk left his house on 19/10/2008 and did not return to his house there after. He has been found missing since then.
