- A case of MV Theft has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 17/10/2008 in between 0950 hrs and 1830 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-8601 belonging to one Anup Kumar (37) R/o Deralakatte Mangalore that was parked in front of Airtel office at Bejai Mangalore. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 25,000/.
- A case of MV Theft has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. In between 21/10/2008 at 2330 hrs and 22/10/2008 at 0630 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a Scorpio car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-8628 belonging to one Vincent Andrade (41) R/o Kaprigudde Atthavara Mangalore that was parked at the premises of his house. The Scorpio car is worth Rs. 6, 18,300/.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 22/10/2008 at 0800 hrs near Horticulture junction at Bendoor Mangalore one Alwin Rodrigo’s driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-004 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Pebin Paul a pedestrian and caused him serious injuries. Further Pebin Paul succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 21/10/2008 at 1700 hrs near Chirumbha Bhagavathi Temple at Kodikal Mangalore one driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-7524 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Sushna (15) R/o Alagudde Kodikal Mangalore a pedestrian and caused her grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 21/10/2008 at 1530 hrs in front of Sri Rama Bhajana Mandira at Yeyyady Mangalore one unknown motorcycle rider drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-3874. As result John Squeira (22) R/o Kankanady Mangalore rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-3874 and Nithin M.S. pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries. The unknown motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 20/10/2008 at 1830 hrs in front of Bajpe Co-operative Society at Bajpe Mangalore one Prajwal rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-E-5875 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-858. As a result one Walter Pereira (31) R/o Kalambe village Mangalore Taluk rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-858 sustained grievous injuries.

- A case of Woman missing has been registered in Sullia Police Station. One Jubaida (24) W/o Ibrahim R/o Kumbetthibana Duggaladka Sullia Town left her house on 21/10/2008 at 0700 hrs and did not return to her house there after. She has been found missing since then.
