- A case under Hurt has been registered in Subramanya Police Station. On 08/10/2008 at 1930 hrs accused Sheena assaulted his wife one Devaki (33) R/o Ambekallu Devachalla village Sullia Taluk with sickle in her house owing to trivial issue.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On the night of 08-09/10/2008 at Maira Kepu village Bantwal Taluk one unknown vehicle driver drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Jagadeesh Ballal (45) a pedestrian and caused him serious injuries. Further he was died on the spot. The unknown vehicle driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station where in one Victor Meneazas (45) R/o Sediyapu Bannuru village Puttur Taluk was declared dead while under treatment on 10/10/2008 at 0300 hrs. The said Victor Manezas was seriously injuries by a motorcycle in a road traffic accident at 04/10/2008 at 1930 hrs at Darandakukku Kodimbady village Puttur Taluk and admitted to A.J. hospital at Mangalore. In this connection a case of road traffic accident was already registered in Puttur Town Police Station.

No. KA-12-H-2332 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Bhavani (60) R/o Neermarga Mangalore a pedestrian and caused her grievous injuries.

No. KA-21-A-4460 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Shobha (34) R/o Neerumarga Mangalore a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries.

On 28/09/2008 at 1800 hrs on Ameye Thingalady road at Ariyadka village Puttur Taluk one Shinappa Gowda driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-2038 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result auto rickshaw driver Shinappa Gowda and Prasad K. (32) R/o Ariyadka village Puttur Taluk who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained grievous injuries.

On 08/10/2008 at 1530 hrs at Pattumudi Manchi village Bantwal Taluk one Haroon Sabebh driver of Ambassador car bearing Reg. No. CNX-8853 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-9798. As a result one Raviprabha rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

On 07/10/2008 at 1130 hrs in front of Phenomena college at Puttur Taluk one Kusuma (32) R/o Pundikay Volamogaru village Puttur Taluk a passenger of KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-F-2239 while getting down from the bus, the driver of said bus moved the bus in a negligent manner due which she fell down from the bus and sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 08/10/2008 at 2000 hrs at Kallega Nehrunagara Puttur Town one driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-01-C-3235 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Maruti car bearing Reg. No. KA-01-P-7716. As a result Suresh (26) R/o Ajayanagara Kabaka village Puttur Taluk driver of car, Shashikala and Sharath who were traveling in the said car sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. On 09/10/2008 at 0930 hrs at Mardala Bantra village Puttur Taluk one driver of jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-20-M-1761 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and applied break suddenly with out giving signal due which the motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-965 which was behind the jeep rammed to it from the back. As a result Shivaraj (32) R/o Ivarnadu village Sullia Taluk rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 09/10/2008 at 0700 hrs one unknown male person aged about 35 yrs accidentally fell down while walking near Rajkamal Hotel Falneer Mangalore. Further he was admitted to Govt. hospital at Mangalore where he declared dead while under treatment on 09/10/2008 at 0800 hrs. The death seems to be due some illness.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 09/10/2008 in between 0800 hrs and 1400 hrs one Parashurama (35) was found dead in his room near Navabarath Circle at Mangalore. The death seems to be due to illness.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 09/10/2008 at 0930 hrs one unknown male dead body aged about 50 years was found near Swaraj Maidan at Marpady village Mangalore Taluk.

- A case of Boy missing has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 07/10/2008 at 0900 hrs one Vishith Amin (15) R/o Karnira village Mangalroe Taluk went to school and did not return his house there after. He has been found missing since then.
