On 06/10/2008 at 1810 hrs at Kaneer Thota Kolya Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk one Radha (70) R/o Kurnadu village Bantwal Taluk was on her way to home by walk. At that time two unknown person came in a motorcycle and snatched the gold chain from her neck and ran away with their motorcycle. The value of the property is Rs. 30,000/.

- A case of Ordinary Theft has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On the night of 04/10/2008 some unknown culprits committed theft of two batteries from the Tanker lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AC-7191 belonging to one Narayana (32) R/o Annaje Ilanthila village Belthangady Taluk that was parked near Vanishree Bhajana Mandira at Ilanthila village Belthangady Taluk. - A case of Ordinary Theft has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On the night of 04/10/2008 some unknown culprits committed theft of two batteries from the lorry bearing Reg. No. KL-7-S-5688 belonging to one Poovappa Kulal (52) R/o Kalleri Karaya village Belthangady Taluk that was parked near Sri Durga Auto Diesel Work Garage at Kalleri Karaya village Belthangady Taluk. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Krishna Naik (husband) gave physical and mental harassment to one Lalitha @ Shobha owing to family dispute.

- A case of Fatal road accident has been registered in Panambur Police Station. Where in one unknown pedestrian has been declared dead while under treatment on 04/10/2008 at 2045 hrs. The said unknown pedestrian was seriously injured by a motorcycle in a road traffic accident on 04/10/2008 at 2000 hrs near Konnar House at Korikatte Panambur Mangalore. In this connection a case has been already registered in Panambur Police Station.
- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 06/10/2008 at 1000 hrs on Somanthadka- Dedupe at Mundaje village Belthangady Taluk one Nijamuddin rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-9006 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Ahammed Beary (70) a pedestrian and caused him serious injuries. Further Ahammed Beary admitted to Benaka Hospital at Ujire village Belthangady Taluk where he declared dead while under treatment on same day at 1245 hrs.

- A case under Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 05/10/2008 at 2145 hrs in front of Lions Club at Mallikatte Mangalore one unknown rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-K-5445 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Thabees Abbas (18) R/o Hampanakatte Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries. The rider of motorcycle escaped from the place without his vehicle.
- A case under Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Panambur Poilice Station. On 06/10/2008 1845 hrs near Deepak Petrol Pump at Panambur Mangalore one driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-7492 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Maruti Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-M-7817. As a result driver of car Nithyananda and Sandeep (21) R/o Katipalla village Mangalore Taluk who was traveling in the said Omni car sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 06/10/2008 at 1730 hrs near Bus stand at Nandanapura Akashbhavana Mangalore one Ratna Shetty R/o Akashbhavana Mangalore passenger of the bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-5247 while getting down from the bus, the driver of bus moved the bus in a negligent manner due which she fell down from the bus and sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 06/10/2008 at 1730 hrs near Deevi Prasad Hotel at Kuloor Mangalore one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-6627 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent and dashed against a Honda Active scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-2119. As a result Honda Active scooter rider Greecy Sequeira (40) R/o Padavinangady Mangalore and Ashal Sequeira pillion rider of said Honda Active scooter sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 16/09/2008 at 1930 hrs near Yekkur Kankanady Mangalore one driver of Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-20-A-2931 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-14-F-3454 driven by Tharakesh (31). As a result one Niranjan (32) pillion rider of motorcycle sustained simple injuries.
- A case under Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 05/10/2008 at 1720 hrs at Valalu Bajatthur village Puttur Taluk one driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-08-AB-9333 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Mohammed Sufian (06) a pedestrian and caused her grievous injuries.

They also damaged the Bar & Restaurant by breaking showcase glasses owing to trivial issue.
