On the information furnished by Ahammed Bava that terrorists stayed at Vittalmakki in Koppa Taluk and at Hakkalamane in N.R.pura Taluk of Chikkamagalore district, the DCIB police further gathered information that one Rafique of Bolanthooru village in Banwal Taluk was found moving in the village along with Riyaz Bhatkal and other terrorists. On this information DCIB police took Rafique to custody on the night of 16-10-2008, who revealed that one Fakeer Bava of Mallur in Udupi district brought the following persons to Hakkalamane at N.R Pura for the first time.

On this information Fakeer Bava was arrested, on the night of 16/10/2008. Investigation revealed that the above persons prepared bombs in the houses at Hakkalamane and Vittalmakki and held bomb-blasting practice. They also had target practice for Rifle and Pistol. On this information raids were conducted on these houses today morning and seized the following weapons and other incriminating articles.
1) one Rifle, 2) one Bow , 3) Jars used for chemical experiments , 4) Engineering Kits, 5) Carpenter Kits, 6) Electrical Kit, 7) Tents used in forests, 8) Gun power, 9) Chemical substances, 10) Targets used for shooting, 11) Articles used for preparing bombs.
Accused Rafique Bava was learned to have been staying with the above terrorists for about 2 years and was also working as car driver to Riyaz Bhatkal for sometimes. He being at Indonesia was supporting terrorism and recently has come down to India.
The following accused persons by name Riyaz Bhatkal, Ahammed Yasin, Ahammed Bava, Badabhai, Chotabhai, Moosa and Mudasser Yasin are yet to be arrested in this case.
