A case of Gambling under Karnataka Police Act has been registered in Subramanya Police Station. On 28/10/2008 at 1730 hrs on credible information PSI Subramanya PS along with his staff conducted a raid on public place at Pallatthdka Balpa village Sullia Taluk and seized 04 cocks and cash Rs. 243/ by arresting Ramachandra (35), Shinappa (35), Ramanna (51), Babu Naik (55) and Monappa (38) who were indulged in betting on cock fighting.
In this connection, a case has been registered against the arrested persons in Subramanya PS U/s 87 of the Karnataka Police Act.
