On 01/11/2009 at 1815 hrs near Nagabana road at Marnamikatte Mangalore one Thara J (45) R/o Marigudi Urwa Mangalore was on her way to home by walk. At that time two unknown persons came in a motorcycle and snatched the gold chain from her neck and ran away with their vehicle. The value of the property is Rs. 45,000/.

On 01/11/2009 at 2130 hrs at Madhuvan bar at Yeyyadi Mangalore one unknown rider of motorcycle drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Shekar a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries. Further the motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

No. KA-19-B-457 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Shekar (52) R/o Shivanagar Moodushedde Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

On 31/10/2009 at 2200 hrs accused 4 unknown persons came in a Swaraj Mazda lorry bearing Reg. KA-21-A-1238 and criminally stopped a Car bearing Reg. No. KA-14-M-560 driven by Mahammad Iqbal R/o Puttur Town and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.
- A case under House trespass, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Outrage modesty of woman, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 01/11/2009 at 1000 hrs accused Santhosh Kumar, Leelavathi and Sharmila all residents of Kolya Mangalore Taluk criminally trespassed into the house belonging to one Balakrishna (42) R/o Koppala Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him with sickle, and ouraged modesty of his wife by pulling her hand and also gave life threat to them owing to civil dispute.

On 31/10/2009 at 1700 hrs near bus stand at Ujire village Belthangady Taluk PSI Belthangady PS along with his staff on credible information apprehended Mahammad Moosabba (33) R/o Udupi District and Mahammad Bashir (19) R/o Udupi District for transporting 16.595 kgs sandal wood pieces illegally worth of Rs 33,000/ has been seized. It is learnt that these sandle wood pieces have been stolen somewhere else by the accused.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 01/11/2009 at 1100 hrs at Manadka Ichlampady village Puttur Taluk one Yathindra Shetty (55) R/o Kudala Ichlampadi village Puttur Taluk sustained serious injuries when the wall where he was working accidentally collapsed over him and died on the spot.

- A case of Girl missing has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 30/10/2009 one Meenakshi R/o Barke Shamburu village Bantwal Taluk left her house and did not return her house there after. She has been found missing since then.
- A case of Girl missing has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 01/11/2009 at 0600 hrs one Geethanjali (22) R/o Kabaka Puttur Town left her house and did not return her house there after. She has been found missing since then.
