- A case under Murder has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 25/10/2009 at 1845 hrs one dead body of Rakshitha R/o Janataha colony Thannirupantha village Belthangady Taluk was found at well near her house. As there was some suspicion regarding the cause of death, it was taken as death under suspicious circumstances and investigation taken up. During course of this investigation, it was revealed that the deceased was actually thrown to the well by her brother accused one Anil owing to family problem. Hence the case has been altered to that of Murder.

- A case of MV Theft has been registered in Mulki Police Station. In between 2000 hrs of 09/11/2009 and 0630 hrs of 10/11/2009 some unknown culprits committed a theft of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-1205 belonging to one Nikhil G (36) R/o near Narayana Guru nursing Home Bappanadu village Mangalore Taluk that was parked near his house. The worth of motorcycle is Rs. 35,000/.

- A case under Criminal trespass, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with criminal intimidation has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 16/11/2009 at 1230 hrs accused Mansoor (25) Adyaru Katte Kannnuru village Mangalore Taluk criminally trespassed into the land belonging to one Zubaida (25) W/o Hassainar R/o Bedrodi village Bajatthuru village Puttur Taluk and abused her in filthy language and also gave life threat to her owing to trivial dispute.
- A case under Cruelty by husband and his relatives along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Vittal Police Station on the complaint of one Thahira Banu w/o Ibrahim R/o Permannuru village Mangalore Taluk. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Ibrahim (husband) and his relatives Ahammad Khan, Iddinabba, Haneef and Razak gave physical and mental harassment to one Thahira Banu to bring more dowry and also gave life threat her.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 16/11/2009 at 2030 hrs at Kanyadi Dharmasthala village Belthangady Taluk one Vishwanatha driver of Maxi cab bearing Reg. No. KA-21-2752 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-L-266. Taluk. As a result motorcycle rider one Praveen sustained grievous injuries. Further he was admitted to Mangala Nursing home at Mangalore where he succumbed to his injuries on 17/11/2009 at 2355 hrs.
- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 12/11/2009 at 1720 hrs on NH 17 near bus stand at Pavanje village Mangalore Taluk one Mahammad Mubeen driver of Ikcon car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MA-5400 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Krishna Bhat G (82) R/o Pavanje Haleyangadi village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him serious injuries. Further he was admitted to A.J hospital at Mangalore where he he succumbed to his injuries on 18/11/2009 at 1950 hrs.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 17/11/2009 at 1730 hrs on NH 13 at Silvergate Padavu village Mangalore Taluk one Shrinivas driver of Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-3129 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Q-6495 driven by Tony (23) R/o Neerumarga Mangalore Taluk. As a result one Jerald Kuvello pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 18/11/2009 at 1300 hrs at Mangalanthi Manjanady village Mangalore Taluk one unknown driver of Indica car bearing Reg. No. KA-01-B-9051 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Ramsheed (12) R/o Ansarnagar Manjanady village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries. Further the driver of car escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

On 17/11/2009 at 1930 hrs accused two unknown persons came in a motorcycle and criminally restrained Sunil Kumar (25) R/o Punchame Kariyangala village Bantwal Taluk and Ananda and also tried to kill Ananda by assaulting with sword owing to trivial issue.

On 17/11/2009 at 2030 hrs at Korathadka Amarapadnuru village Sullia Taluk accused one Narayana @ Beltha (26) R/o Korathadka Amarapadnuru village Sullia Taluk criminally restrained Ramayya Gowda (50) and Devaki both residents of Korathadka Amarapadnuru village Sullia Taluk and abused them in filthy language and also gave life threat to them owing to trivial issue.
- A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal Intimidation has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 18/11/2009 at 2030 hrs at Kaikamba Badagulipadi village Mangalore Taluk accused one Abdul Salaam criminally stopped a car belonging to one Musthafa G (25) R/o Kaikamba Kinnikambla Mangalore Taluk and abused him in filthy language at Kaikamba Badagulipadi village Mangalore Taluk and assaulted him with iron rod and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 17/11/2009 1400 hrs one Sundara Poojary R/o Kelagina Karla Thenka Kajakkaru village Belthangady Taluk committed suicide by consuming some poison in his house owing to personal problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 17/11/2009 1930 hrs one unknown person aged about 25-26 years attempted to commit suicide by consuming some poison owing to personal problem. Further he was admitted to Wenlock Govt. hospital at Mangalore where was declared dead while under treatment on 17/11/2009 at 2030 hrs.
Missing Persons: 01
- A case of Man missing has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. One Somashekara (26) R/o Lohithnagar Derebailu village Mangalore Taluk left his house on 20/10/2009 at 0900 hrs and did not return to his house there after. He has been found missing since then.
