- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 20/11/2009 at 2115 hrs at Palike Mani village Bantwal Taluk one driver of Tanker lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-41-7766 drove his vehicle in a rash negligent manner and collided against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-7765. As a result Manjunatha driver of said car, Deeksha (16) D/o Rathnakara Naik (46) R/o Janathagraha Narikombu village Panemangalore Bantwal Taluk and Yathisha who were traveling in said car sustained grievous injuires and admitted to Wenlock hospital where in Deeksha succumbed to her injuries on the same day.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 21/11/2009 at 1220 hrs at Thiplepadavu Konaje village Mangalore Taluk one Riyaz rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EA- 4176 drove his vehicle in a rash negligent manner and collided against a Tata magic vehicle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-5874. As a result motorcycle rider Riyaz sustained grievous injuries. Further driver of Tata magic vehicle one Jayaraj (26) R/o Kotekaru village Mangalore Taluk also sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 21/11/2009 at 1530 hrs near Sulia cross road at Ubaradka Sullia Town one driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-1372 drove his vehicle in a rash negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result Prashanth D’Souza (32) R/o Manibettu Ubaradka Mithur who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.

- A case under Causing death due to negligence (sec 304 A) has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 21/11/2009 at 1130 hrs one Roshan got electrocuted and sustained serious injuries while working at City Centre building K.S. Rao road Mangalore due to the negligence of Contractor of Akshay Power Company. Further he was admitted to Yenepoya hospital where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on the same day.
