- A case of Ordinary Theft has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 12/11/2009 at 1345 hrs accused one Kumarvelu S. (36) R/o Tamilnadu State driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-9497 attempted to commit theft of (200 K.G) Iron sheets worth Rs. 1800/ from NMPT Mangalore. Meanwhile he was caught red hand by the CISF Constable and handed over to the Police.

On 13/11/2009 at 1045 hrs one unknown person committed theft of cash Rs. 85,000/ belonging to one Abdul Rahiman M (55) R/o Badaganoor village Puttur Taluk by diverting the attention of him in front of Canara Bank at Puttur Town.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 12/11/2009 at 1720 hrs near Pavanje bus stand at Pavanje village Mangalore Taluk one Mohammed Mubin driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MA-5400 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Krishna Bhat B (82) a pedestrian and caused him serious injuries. Further he was admitted to A.J. hospital at Mangalore where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on same day at 1950 hrs.

- A case of Girls missing has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. In between 2200 hrs of 11/11/2009 and 0700 hrs of 12/11/2009 Premitha Squira (20) and Ashwith (17) both residing of Mooda Hithlu Kadandale village Mangalore Taluk left there house and did not return to there house there after. They have been found missing since then.
