- A case under Rioting, House trespass, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt, Outrage modesty of woman along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 18/11/2009 at 1900 hrs accused Santhosh, Sharath, Raju, Varadharaja, Naveen, Nishyal and others forming into an unlawful assembly at Vidhyanagar Devasya Vittal Town and abused one Seetha V.M (38) R/o Devasya Vittal Town Bantwal Taluk in filthy language near her house and assaulted her by hand and with wooden stick and also outraged her modesty by pulling her hand owing to civil dispute between them.

No. KA-19-W-5502 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Vasu Poojary (650 R/o Bangra Kuloor Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 18/11/2009 at 1300 hrs at Biravu Puchemogeru village Mangalore Taluk one Abdulla rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-2831 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-4994. As a result Abdul Latheef and Abdulla both the rider of motorcycles and Manjunath and Mohammed Althaf both pillion rider of said motorcycles sustained grievous injuries.

No. KA-19-N-2597 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Neetha (17) R/o Ravi b R/o Karnadu village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused her grievous injuries.

On 03/11/2009 at 1045 hrs at Yedur padav Moodushedde village Mangalore Taluk one Imthiyaz driver of an Auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-3307 drove his vehicle in arash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which the vehicle capsized. As a result one Ibrahim (42) R/o Moodushedde who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained grievous injuries.

On 18/11/2009 at 0900 hrs accused Dinesh, Kamala, Monappa and Seetha criminally trespassed into the house belonging to one Santhosh Kumar R/o Bobbekeri Vittal Town Bantwal Taluk and abused him, Varadharaja, Sharath Kumar, Yashodha and Shivappa Naik in filthy language and assaulted them by hand and with iron rod owing to civil dispute between them.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Policde Station. On 19/11/2009 at 0800 hrs one unknown dead body aged about 25 years was found near Nethravathi snanaghatta Dharmasthala village Belthangady Taluk. It seems to be a case of drowning.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Subramanya Police Station. On 20/11/2009 at 0400 hrs one Putta Ajila (45) R/o Karikala Pambethodi village Sullia Taluk committed suicide by hanging near his house owing to health problem.
