- A case under Murder has been registered in Venoor Police Station. In between 0930 hrs and 2200 hrs of 15/11/2009 at Atadapalke Gunduri village Belthangady Taluk Sathish and Revathi R/o Atadapalke Gunduri village Belthangady Taluk killed their daughter Rakshitha (02) by giving some poison to her and they also committed suicide by consuming some poison owing to family problem.
- A case under Murder has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. On 15/11/2009 at 1645 hrs at Kajirapalli Kutrupadi village Puttur Taluk one Raju @ Vargis killed one one Rajesh @ Ammi(34) R/o Dola Kutrupadi village Puttur Taluk killed by assaulting him with sickle owing to previous enmity.

- A case of MV Theft has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. In between 1200 hrs and 1315 hrs of 14/11/2009 some unknown culprits committed a theft of Hero Honda Splendor motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-K-5675 belonging to one Ananda Das (45) R/o Mundrupadi Dharamasthala village Belthangady Taluk that was parked near Vaishali lodge at Dharmasthala village Belthnangady Taluk. The worth of Hero Honda Splendor motorcycle is Rs. 35,000/.
- A case of MV Theft has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 15/11/2009 at 1630 hrs PI Puttur Town PS apprehended Siddiq Sameer (19) R/o Soorya Idkidu village Bantwal Taluk and Shahul Hameed (21) R/o Urimajalau Kula village Puttur Taluk who were found moving suspiciously on a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-U-2567 at Manjalpadpu Puttur Town. On enquiry it was learnt that the said motorcycle has been stolen somewhere else. Accordingly a case was registered in Puttur Town PS.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Venoor Police Station. On 14/11/2009 at 1000 hrs at Kamettu Venoor village Belthangady Taluk one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-8819 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which bus capsized. As a result Shailesh conductor of said bus sustained serious injures and died on the spot. Further Chandrashekar Puriya (32) R/o Giri Arambodi village Belthanhgady Taluk and other passengers who were traveling in the said bus also sustained simple injuries.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinagandy Police Station. On 15/11/2009 at 1130 hrs at Soorya Barya village Puttur Taluk one Mahammad Musthafa driver of Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-21-M-6942 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Yubaida (29) R/o Beliyuru village Bantwal Taluk a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 13/11/2009 at 1330 hrs near mosque at Menala Ajjavara village Sullia Taluk one Ramachandra Kukkujadka rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-7934 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-K-896. As a result one Monappa rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-K-896 sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 13/11/2009 at 1530 hrs at Jaalsoor Sullia Taluk one Chaniyappa Naik driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-2330 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-E-8355. As a result motorcycle rider one Jayaram Rao (56) R/o Sampaje village Sullia Taluk sustained grivious injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 16/10/2009 at 1730 hrs at Aniyuru Neria village Belthangady Taluk one Shivappa Gowda driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-8394 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over the vehicle due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result one Shantha (28) R/o Balnadu Puduvettu village Belthangady Taluk who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 15/11/2009 at 2245 hrs at Kayargoli junction Mudipu Mangalore Taluk one Rakshan Konde rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-9910 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-6511 driven by Sundara Shetty (30). As a result auto rickshaw driver Sundar Shetty, Nagesh (25) R/o Majalu Adda Venoor village Belthangady Taluk, motorcycle rider Rakshan Konde and pillion rider of said motorcycle Purushothama sustained grievous injuries.

On 14/11/2009 at 1630 hrs on credible information PSI L&O and PSI Crime of Sullia PS along with staff conducted a raid on open place near bus stand at Kanthamangala Ajjavara village Sullia Taluk and seized 48 liquor bottles (each 180 ML) of worth Rs. 2260/ and cash Rs. 60/ by arresting Vishawanatha (26) R/o Kasaragod Kerala State.

In between 0100 hrs and 0500 hrs of 15/11/2009 one Lingappa Shettigar (75) R/o Mullakadu Kavoor village Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by jumping in to a pond near his house owing to personal problem and died due drowning.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Venoor Police Station. On 15/11/2009 at 1315 hrs one Abdul Nawaz (13) R/o Kalpane Arambodi village Belthangady Taluk accidentally slipped into the Palguni river while walking near his house and died due drowning.
