- A case of Burglary has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On the night of 08-09/11/2009 some unknown culprits gained entry into the Kallutti Panjuruli Daivasthana belonging to one Santhosh Kumar Rai (43) R/o Kuvettu Bail Pajiru village Bantwal Taluk by breaking the front door lock and committed theft of gold ornaments and silver ornaments all in worth Rs. 95,000/.

- A case of Ordinary theft has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On the night of 08/11/2009 accused Mohammed Shali, Hakeem and Maiyaddi committed theft of four goats belonging to one Abdul Hakeem (39) R/o Panji Mogaru Mangalore from his house. The value of goats is to be estimated.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 08/11/2009 at 1445 hrs near Hosabettu junction at Surathkal Mangalore one Khadar Beary driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AD-6543 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against another bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AB-2410. As a result Kumar (22) R/o Mulki, Basavaraju and Lingappa who were traveling in the bud bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AB-2410 sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 09/11/2009 at 0545 hrs near Nethravathi bridge at Jappina Mogaru village Mangalore Taluk one Abbas driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-666 drove his vehicle in rash and negligent manner and collided against a lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-09-L-7692. As a result Mohammed Saleem (35) R/o K.C. road Thalapady village Manglore Taluk who was traveling in the bus sustained simple injuries.

On 08/11/2009 at 1430 hrs near Badakabailu junction at Ammunje village Bantwal Taluk one Girisha driver of Maruthi Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N-8713 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collide against one Shobha (19) R/o Badagabellur village Bantwal Taluk a pedestrian and caused her grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatl Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 08/11/2009 at 1545 hrs near Ganapathi Temple at Koila village Bantwal Taluk one Ashoka driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-D-799 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-18-M-372. As a result car driver Shobha, Vijaya Kanchan (30) R/o Darkas Koila village Bantwal Taluk, Chandrashekar, Poorvi and poorne who were traveling in the said car sustained grievous injuries.

- A case under Rioting, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 09/11/2009 at 1530 hrs accused Sushma, Saritha and Sharada forming into unlawful assembly and abused one Geetha w/o Sridhara Poojary R/o Mudayee Kadu Beluvai village Mangalore Taluk in filthy language near her house and also gave life threat to her owing to civil dispute between them.
