- A case under Attempt to commit theft has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On the 16/11/2009 at 2100 hrs culprit one Suresh (22) R/o Kundapura Udupi District gained entry into the Nadakacheri at Marpadi village Mangalore Town by breaking the door lock and attempted to committed theft.

- A case under Cheating along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Vittal Police Station where in it is alleged that accused one Sathish (27) had sexual intimacy with one twenty two year old girl of Noojibail Kolnadu village Bantwal Taluk by promising to marry her. There upon he refused to marry her and cheated her and also gave life threat to her.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 16/11/2009 at 1545 hrs near temple at Kavu Madnooru village Puttur Taluk one Thilak Naik driver of Indica car bearing Reg. No. KA-09-B-0546 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a bicycle driven by Rama R/o Banglegudde Puttur Taluk. Further car driver lost his control over the vehicle and collided against two motorcycles bearing Reg. No. KA-19-L-9662 and KA-01-X-328 driven by Krishna M (30) R/o Mitthuru Idkidu village Bantwal Taluk and Chithrasena Bhandary. As a result bicycle rider Rama sustained grievous injuries and succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.

On 16/11/2009 at 0730 hrs near Kamadehenu gas agency at Nanthoor Mangalore one driver of bus belonging to PA collage drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against an Activa Honda bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-6802. As a result Activa Honda rider one Mary Lebintha Peter R/o Preethnagar Shakthinagar Mangalore sustained grievous injuries. Further the driver of bus escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

On 15/11/2009 at 1910 hrs at Deralakatte Belma village Manglore Taluk one Vinod Kumar rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-6465 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Sadhashiva Shetty (48) R/o Mangalanthi Manjanady village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.

On 09/11/2009 at 1430 hrs at Melkar Panemangalore village Bantwal Taluk one Haroon Bhashir driver of Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-20-M-6288 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over the vehicle due which car capsized. As a result Abubakkar (45) R/o Kelaginavagga Kadabettu village Bantwal Taluk and Amanulla N.S who were traveling in the said car sustained grievous injuries.
