- A case under Ordinary Theft has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 14/11/2009 at 0600 hrs CPI Mangalore Rural Circle while on his rounds along with his staff at Sajipanadu Bantwal Taluk found accused Vinod K.M (22), Haneef @ Boodu Haneef, Saddam @ Satthar, Sunil transporting the sand in a lorry bearing Reg. No. KL-13-N-5369 from Nehtravathi river shore without any proper documents. Further accused have been arrested and lorry has been seized. The Total worth of seized property is Rs.5, 03,000.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Venoor Police Station. On 14/11/2009 at 0845 hrs at Kamettu Venoor Town Belthangady Taluk one driver of Bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-8819 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which the bus capsized. As a result Shailesh conductor of said bus sustained serious injuries and died on the spot. The other passengers who were traveling in the said bus also sustained simple injuries.

No. KA-20-A-3888 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a Activa Honda Scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-2932. As a result Sowjanya (22) R/o Kodilabail Mangalore rider of said scooter sustained simple injuries
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 14/11/2009 at 0600 hrs at Padil Junction Mangalore one driver of Maruti Omni bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-1102 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided one Mayyaddi R/o Padil Alape Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries. .
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 13/11/2009 at 1330 hrs near Menala Mosque at Ajjavara village Sullia Taluk one Ramachandra Kukkujadka rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-7934 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-K-896. As a result Monappa rider of said motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-K-896 sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 13/11/2009 at 1530 hrs at Jalsur Town Sullia Taluk one Chaniyappa Nail driver of Auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-2330 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-E-8355. As a result Jayaram Rao (56) R/o Sampaje village Sullia Taluk rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 16/10/2009 at 1730 hrs at Aniyoor Neriya village Belthangady Taluk one Shivappa Gowda driver of an Auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-8394 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which the auto rickshaw capsized. As a result Shantha (28) R/o Puduvettu village Belthangay Taluk who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained grievous injuries. The auto rickshaw driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

On 13/11/2009 at 2230 hrs at Deralakatte Belma village Mangalore Taluk accused Hameed @ Didda Ammi, Haneef @ Kunta Haneef, Musthafa and Hameed @ Lambu Hameed criminally restrained one Hameed (32) R/o Madani Nagar Kuttar Mangalore Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

- A case under Karnataka Excise Act has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 14/11/2009 at 1630 hrs on credible information PSI Sullia PS along with staff conducted a raid near Bus stand at Kanthamangala Ajjavara village Sullia Taluk and seized 05 liquor bottles of (each 750 ML) and 48 liquor bottles (each 180 ML) of worth Rs.2260/ and cash Rs. 60/ by arresting one Vishwanatha (26) R/o Adoor village Kasargod Taluk Kerala State who was selling these liquor bottles illegally there.
