• A case of Burglary has been registered in Mulki Police Station. In between 1100 hrs and 1700 hrs of 05/11/2009 some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Olivia D Souza (31) R/o Damaskatte Thalipadi village Mangalore Taluk by removing the roof tiles and committed a theft of Gold ornaments and Cash Rs. 2,000/. All in worth Rs. 42,000/.

• A case of Burglary has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On the night of 04/11/2009 some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Sumithra (52) R/o Maddadka Kuvettu village Belthangdy Taluk by breaking the back door lock and committed a theft of Gold ornaments and Cash all in worth Rs. 1,20,000/.

• A case of Burglary has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On the intervening night of 04-05/11/2009 some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Abdulla R/o Maddadka Kuvettu village Belthangdy Taluk by removing the window grills committed a theft of Gold ornaments, wrist watch and torch light all in worth Rs. 15,000/.

• A case under Cruelty by husband and his relatives has been registered in Surathkal Police Station on the complaint of one Deepika @ Vasanthi (25) W/o Kishore Devadiga R/o Hosabettu Kulai Mangalore Taluk. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Kishore Devadiga (husband) and his relatives Suguna and Ranjitha gave physical and mental harassment to one Deepika @ Vasanthi to bring more dowry.

• A case under Cruelty by husband and his relatives along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Mangalore Woman Police Station on the complaint of one Shashirekha (34) W/o Prasanna P R/o Ashiyana Layout Ashoknagar Mangalore. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Prasanna P (husband) and his relatives Vasanthi T, Ramakrishna T and Nisha Dudalkar gave physical and mental harassment to one Shashirekha to bring more dowry and also gave life threat to her.

• A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 04/11/2009 at 0615 hrs at Markanja cross Sullia Taluk one Ashok Kumar K rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-5959 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner due which one Theresamma (42) R/o Adyadka Thodikana village Sullia Taluk pillion rider of said motorcycle fell down and sustained grievous injuries. Further Theresamma was admitted to Yenapoya hospital at Mangalore where she succumbed to her injuries on 05/11/2009 at 0630 hrs.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Traffic West Police Station. On 05/11/2009 at 0045 hrs at Kottara cross Mangalore one Ranjan Kumar rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-7965 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over the vehicle due which motorcycle capsized. As a result Ranjan Kumar rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 05/11/2009 at 0930 hrs on NH 17 at Hosabettu Kulai village Mangalore Taluk one Naveen rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-4317 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-575. As a result Vasantha rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-575 and one Bharath Shetty pillion rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-4317 sustained grievous injuries.

Unnatural Death Report: 02

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. In between 0900 hrs of 04/11/2009 and 0900 hrs of 05/11/2009 one Nagaraja Ghokale (43) R/o Nethrala Belthangady Taluk committed suicide by consuming some poison at Periashanthi Kaukradi village Puttur Taluk owing to personal problem.

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 05/11/2009 at 1400 hrs one Sandeep (17) R/o Udupi District was accidentally slipped into the river at Manjotti Nada village Belthangady Taluk and died due drowning.
