Motor Vehicle Theft: 02

• A case of MV Theft has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. In between 29/11/2007 at 1930 hrs and 30/11/2007 at 0730 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KL-13-Q-2468 belonging to one Sandeep that was parked at the premise of Fr. Muller’s hospital Mangalore. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 43,000/.
  
• A case of MV Theft has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On the intervening night of 29-30/11/2007 at 0600 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a TVS Star motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-9448 belonging to one Husain R/o Nala Nyayatharpu village Belthangady Taluk that was parked in the premises of his house. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 30,000/.

• A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 30/11/2007 at 0715 hrs at Hosakaveri Kemral village Mangalore Taluk one Gunakara rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-6641 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Q-2882 driven by Gururaj (28) R/o Idya village Mangalore Taluk. As a result one Manoj (27) pillion rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-6641 sustained serious injuries. Further Manoj admitted to A.J. hospital at Mangalore where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on the same day at 1045 hrs.
  
• A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 30/11/2007 at 1930 hrs on NH 13 Gandhinagara Moodabire Mangalore Taluk one unknown auto rickshaw driver drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-L-1290. As a result motorcycle rider Jayachandra and Devaki pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries. Further motorcycle rider Jayachandra admitted to A.J. hospital at Mangalore where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on 01/12/2007 at 1030 hrs. The auto rickshaw driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

Non-Fatal: 02

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident as been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 29/11/2007 at 1900 hrs on Kankanandy-Bypass road Mangalore one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-2848 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an electric pole. As a result electric pole got damaged. No causalities reported. The damage is caused about Rs. 20,000/.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 30/11/2007 at 1630 hrs at Mallikatte Mangalore one unknown bus driver drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-8525. As a result motorcycle rider Mohandas and pillion rider Shankunthala (46) R/o Bejai Battagudde Mangalore sustained grievous injuries.

• A case under Rioting, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 30/11/2007 at 1400 hrs accused Puruni @ Sridhara, Umesha @ Valli, Dinesha, Harisha and Sundara forming into an unlawful assembly near Punjalakatte Bus stand at Kukkala village Belthangady Taluk and abused one Annu (22) R/o Uliyamajalu Kukkala village Belthangady Taluk in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and also gave the life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

• A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 30/11/2007 at 1030 hrs accused Shakir, Adam, Mansur @ Cheriya and Muthalib criminally restrained one Haris (22) R/o Goodina Bali Bantwal Town near his house and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him with wooden stick owing to financial issue.
  
• A case under Hurt has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 01/12/2007 at 0900 hrs accused one Narayana D.R assaulted his brother one Muralikrishna D.R. (44) R/o Kodi Sampaje village Sullia Taluk with wooden stick near his house owing to civil dispute.

• A case under Karnataka Excise Act has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 30/11/2007 at 1115 hrs on credible information PSI Kavoor PS along with staff conducted a raid on open place at Basavanagara Kunjathabail village Mangalore Taluk and seized 10 Ltr. liquors worth Rs. 400 by arresting Arun D. Souza (33) R/o Vidyanagara Panjimogaru village Mangalore Taluk who was selling these liquor illegally there.

Unnatural Death Report: 02

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 30/11/2007 at 1000 hrs one unknown male person aged about 35 to 40 yrs accidentally fell down while walking at Laila village Belthangady Taluk. Further he was admitted to Govt. hospital at Belthangady where he declared dead while under treatment on 30/11/2007 at 1445. The death seems to be due some illness.
  
• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 30/11/2007 at 0340 hrs one Devappa Gowda (50) R/o Jalsur village Sullia Taluk committed suicide by hanging at Bolubail Jalsuru village Sullia Taluk owing to financial problem.
