In between 24/12/2007 at 2300 hrs and 25/12/2007 at 0400 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Zinath Bhanu (44) R/o Kumpala Bypass Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk by breaking the door lock and committed theft of gold ornaments, a Mobile phone, a Wrist Watch and cash Rs. 25,000/ all in worth Rs. 1,99,500/.

On 26/12/2007 in between 0230 hrs and 0330 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Valerian Lobo (36) R/o Krishnapura Katipalla village Mangalore Taluk by breaking the back door lock and committed theft of gold ornaments and cash Rs. 3,000/ all in worth Rs. 58,800/.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Subramanya Police Station. On 25/12/2007 at 1930 hrs at Taluru Devachalla village Sullia Taluk one Hoovappa driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-9552 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result one Shivarama Gowda R/o Markanja village Sullia Taluk who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained serious injuries. Further Shivarama Gowda succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.

As a result motorcycle rider Manoj Kumar (23) R/o Mulki Mangalore and Ashraf pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

No. KA-21-N-2424 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Meera Shetty (57) R/o Gurunagara Konchady Mangalore a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries.

On 24/12/2007 at 0925 hrs at Shanthi Gudde Bajpe village Mangalore Taluk one Poovappa Saphaliga driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-2525 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-26-J-1999. As a result motorcycle rider Gururaj (37) R/o Betageri Taluk Gadag District and Nagaraj pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

On 23/12/2007 at 1400 hrs at Neharu nagara Karinje village Mangalore Taluk one Shashidhara driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-20-9851 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result Baby Ashwini (12) R/o Kallabettu village Mangalore Taluk who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained grievous injuries.

On 25/12/2007 at 0300 hrs at Pernaje Nettanige Mudnoor village Puttur Taluk one Yelyanna driver of Tempo Trax bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MM-6516 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which Tempo Trax capsized. As a result Nisha (22) R/o Kapikad Mangalore, Nithin, Yashashwini, Usha, Thilak Anil Kumar, Manish Kumar and Melisha who were traveling in the said Tempo Trax sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 24/12/2007 at 1935 hrs on Nethravathi Bridge at Uppinangady Town one Kushalappa driver of car bearing Reg. No. CNX-5263 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-F-1969. As a result car driver Kushalappa sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered Belthangady Police Station. On 25/12/2007 at 1300 hrs at Ujire village Belthangady Taluk one Vilas S. Devasthali rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-2708 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Nataraj D.C. (38) R/o Arasikere Taluk Hassan District a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries. Further motorcycle rider lost control over his vehicle due which motorcycle capsized. As a result Anasuya pillion rider of said motorcycle also sustained simple injuries.

On 22/12/2007 at 1615 hrs accused Jatthappa, Gunapala, Narayana, Madhava, Ramakka and Savithri forming into an unlawful assembly at Punikkal Chavarka village Puttur Taluk and abused one Harish (27) R/o Udaladka Chavarka village Puttur Taluk in filthy language and assaulted him with sickle and with wooden stick and also gave life threat to him owing to civil dispute.

On 25/12/2007 at 2230 hrs at the premise of KSRTC Bus Stand Mangalore accused 10 unknown persons abused Pradeep H. C. R/o Marigudi at Urwastore Mangalore, Narendra, Mithun and Sharath in the in filthy language and assaulted them by hand and with Helmet and also gave life threat to them owing to trivial issue.
